The American south’s sound lives on!
That's My Daughter :-) Leonie Evans ...wonderful sounds from all concerned!
Mighty fine background choir to accompany a dope singer. That was fun!
She’s got a great voice, seen her version Minnie’s Chauffer Blues..she has great pipes
Your daughter is unbelievably talented! So happy to see her grow within her music
I wish more artists would record this way. The energy of the room gave me goosebumps.
Just realized some artists I’ve loved dearly on youtube (Tuba Skinny, Frog & Henry, Stoneking) were connected here. Thanks from Paris.
wow, just spotted Erika lewis singing back up... that's some talent you got there CW❤️👍
Erika Lewis is a national treasure! God bless yeh Stoneking! You have an eye for talent along with being a legend yourself!
When C.W. puts out it is genuine, and there is no holding back, the music simply gels. i guess that's why i keep coming back, seen him four times now, and never in the same guise he is constantly tweaking without losing the source, and inspiration that drives him.
Yes, he is an incredible live performer. Each performance is just a little bit different than the others, but inspire a strong feeling. Thanks for tuning in
I've just watched this 4 times in a row, no 5
What a great sound and performance. Wonderful. All the best, Nigel
Holy mother fuck, that's a good 3:12 of existence. Thank you CW and band.
This man is awesome
This is probably my favourite song of his - and this might be the best live version I've heard.
Thanks for watching! If you liked this version, check out the studio who recorded it-- Mashed Potato Records. They produce a lot of amazing artists and record live to reel. Also have another video up by CW on my channel. Enjoy!
@@autumnholladay was this ever released on a record or compilation
@@Mosey410 Not yet! It will be released by Mashed Potato Records, a project started by Sam Doores and Duff Thompson, sometime. In the meantime, they have 2 compilation albums with some great NOLA artists that you should definitely check out!
I love this song! One of my favourite artists! I’ve spent a lot of time in his home town too
I think this is my favourite song by CW. Thanks for this CW, glad your around.
This is unbelievably magical 💐
This is wonderful!
Great, let's just have an afternoon jam session, wish they were my neighbours, free music.
Love it!
Wow, is that Erika with you on back up? I love C'dub and I have to thank Tuba Skinny for covering Dodo Blues. Never would have found him years ago with out them.
Yes that is Erika! Tuba Skinny is amazing. I love how covers can help introduce you to different artists. It helps carrying on the folk tradition of music. Thanks for watching:)
Perfection happened there, love it.

I am not confused. This guy and gals and folks should be the most famous people in the world. It's pretty easy to see. Evil things are scared when this comes on. Pretty easy

star power with
Erika Lewis
I'm done 😭
The quality is AMAZING! What kind of Mic is this ?
Probably really old. Picks up well as he sung from distance looks brilliant aswell. As old as his 30s gibson.
I think it’s an RCA ribbon. Cheers.
Dance to this in ya socks on a polished floor, works well.
I just threw my phone 📱 😐
This is so surreal and strange. CW Stoneking is definitely very talented. Has music in his bones. Deep in his bones. But.. it's also unsettling and quite disturbing how they're sort of pressing themselves into the imprint of black american musicians from a certain time and place. This is a very strange experience.
🤣🤣🤣❤💛💚💙
This song sounds gospel he is singing like a black preacher his background singers sounds like black women somebody went to a AME can’t fool me
