    If someone else mentioned this or I missed it in the video, disregard me.
    I practiced this when I was young and getting into magic, and I had very little finger strength because of being a child and all. I gained the hand strength necessary to do this while practicing by using 1/2 a deck to 3/4 of a deck and adding more as I got better. That helped me to master the coordination and build up the strength in my fingers at the same time. Maybe doing that is completely obvious to everyone or someone else has said it and like I said, I just missed it. However, I wanted to share anyway in case someone was struggling and it would help.
    Great video, thanks for the tutorial!! You're gonna be huge someday man.
    Be kind out there people. ✌🏼🤙🏼

    Hey, Chris, I've loved magic since I was little but was never very good at it. The day I found you on CZcams I thought "wow this is like the coolest magician I've ever seen." Since then I have been watching all your videos and trying your magic tricks. I've even been able to impress some kids at school. Basically to wrap it up I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to get back into magic!

      That's not weird Nick. I've always loved magic, especially cards with the tricks and cardistry. Never could do anything or even tried actually. Since I've seen these vids I've been slowly learning some cool stuff. My motivation for this? I'm almost 60 years old and have three very young grandchildren that I have all sorts of fun doing card tricks and moves for. My 5 year old grandson has a basic magic kit now and is having so much fun showing me tricks. I think the majority of people wish they could do magic but they just don't have the patience. At my age now I wish I tried earlier but it's better to at least do it and know that I tried and learned what I could and hopefully will continue to.

  • @dragon67849
    @dragon67849 Před 3 lety

    I have only recently started learning, thank Mike Boyd for that, and I loved using the plastic cards because of their rigidity. They're firm so I know what I can expect. More spring power, a little less control due to the strength requirement and of course the muscle pain. That thumb muscle you pointed out, yeah imagine me typing XD
    I will do it the same way Mike does it. Day 1, hour zero. Well atm it's more like hour 2 day 2. And I'm gonna learn a lot more. Strength is the title of this year for me. Because this year I had a lot to overcome. And I got stronger because of it. Have fun learning yall, I am having the time of my life today ^^

    My hands are too small to do the first spring because I’m 11 so then I just do the third spring. Then I saw your video and the second spring helped me a lot. Thanks so much! You are my favourite CZcamsr.
