Good info on disassembly Kelly! Never having done one of these, I would have likely had all sorts of parts, scattered all over the floor, unnecessarily!

Rusty clutch Makes great sense for the clutch not moving
Did you try some oil on the pivot points on the clutch? That wear did not look that bad. Customer paid for it, so all is good. 😁
I should have shown the clutch better.. unfortunately I film outside and its so bright i can't see the screen on the phone.. there was considerable amount of material missing on the clutch on the wing ends.. .. off camera i did lube it up and got a small amount of movement but the customer asked for the new clutch .. so thats the way we went. I kept the clutch to test in future machine for just that reason lol ..
@@MunkyWrench Those types of clutches are a staple on chainsaws and last a long time. Longer then the saws themselves. Good fix!
@@canamrider7195 I have come to realize there is a difference between "filming my repairs" and "repairing to film" on many machines there can be multiple causes of failure and multiple ways to repair instead of replace parts.. as the channel grows I will have the resources to be able to .. repair to film.. showing better ways and multiple causes.. I am working on that.. mean time I have shortened my vids and am trying to keep them snappy.. hopefully it will make them a bit better.. thanks as always for being around my friend
