About FlyDubai (from Wikipedia):
Flydubai (Arabic: فلاي دبي), legally Dubai Aviation Corporation is an Emirati government-owned low-cost airline in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with its head office and flight operations in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport. The airline operates a total of 114 destinations, serving the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe from Dubai.
About (from Wikipedia):
The Boeing 737 MAX is the fourth generation of the Boeing 737, a narrow-body airliner manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), a division of American company Boeing. It succeeds the Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) and competes with the Airbus A320neo family. The new series was announced on August 30, 2011. It took its maiden flight on January 29, 2016 and was certified by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in March 2017. The first delivery was a MAX 8 in May 2017 to Malindo Air, with which it commenced service on May 22, 2017.

Charging for IFE seems bizarre on one hand, but on the other, so much of the flight experience has been unbundled, I'm kinda surprised more carriers don't do it. It's not necessarily the end of the world if you know in advance and can download your own content to take with you - and if you're able to cast it onto the IFE screen (hopefully for free!), so much the better.
Yeah I think it's not unreasonable and the price isn't too bad either!
Really good editing!!
Always love seeing your reviews of airlines
happy new year dan !! 🎉🎉
Very informative as it pertains to a flight plan I’m thinking of. Thanks
Happy new year to you both 🎉🎉. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Excellent video guys, Happy new year 🎉
Happy New Year! Fky and stay healthy! Cheers.
love the vlog dan! keep it up 🤩👍🥰
I wonder, if you were doing a long haul route with a FlyDubai and Emirates leg if the IFE on the FlyDubai route would be included. For places that have multiple flights a day operated by both Emirates and FlyDubai (like Muscat) it would be odd to have to trade off complimentary IFE versus connection time.
Best Video By The Way! ❤
Love your videos ❤
When I started watching this video, i was just thinking that you should visit Kuwait once again! And Funnily later on in the video I realized you were coming to Kuwait!!
Welcome back to Kuwait Oskar & Dan!
Hoping to see you travel on Kuwait Airways next!💕
Wow......things have changed in Kuwait so much since I worked there in '83 as an expat.........tourists?........what are those? .....loved your visit !! Thanks guys !! ❤ ❤
Happy New Year Dan xxxxx
Happy New Year Daniel🙏
Love you dan your content is amazing❤
Underrated
Iv travelled with fly dubai twice and i loved it .
Would have loved to have had you guys on one of my flights and we could talk as av/travel geeks! T2 in DXB is best to show up, quickly go through and board a flight. Visa run passengers are very normal in every day ops and to many destinations too. It requires a lot of announcements otherwise people will get of the plane. But crew is used to these runs. Come take a trip on our MAX flatbed again! I’m of to Istanbul next. 😉
Quick question: why are some of the passengers' face blurred but not others?
Cannot wait to fly on FlyDubai 787s
I do hope all vloggers are like you. Respecting other people's privacy. Keep it up Dan. God bless you 🙏
There’s evisa available in Kuwait for selected nationalities.
I flew fly dubai from tlv and we landed in terminal 3 since its as you said part of emirates. Maybe departures are from terminal 2 but it was nice to at least land in the "main" terminal.
Free palestine
Daaan this is crazy! The hotel you stayed in is literally a block away from my huge school back when I was a kid! It has this huge play ground, and like a couple of buildings, and you may or may not have noticed the insane traffic for the school in the morning lol.
I’m not in school anymore obviously, but what a coincidence! Always wanted to see what that hotel looked like from the inside! XD.
Hope to see you come back to Kuwait!
What do you mean about booking an emirates flight and going on flydubai all of a sudden
The credit card swipes brought me back to the time where you could swipe your credit card and make a phone call on board the flight lol. That didn't last very long on flights
What app are you using to edit this video?
The lack of lounge options at T2 really is a worry given that there are a fair few carriers which operate out of T2. Marhaba Lounge is just a mess as everyone from LoungeKey to Priority Pass to banking products are all lining up for it
I really hope T2 gets a renovation soon!
what is brand is your cabin luggage ?
fly dubai has a lounge in T2 right?
I believe you still need a VOA for Dubai, not sure about Abu Dhabi however. I think it’s good FZ crew announced the visa run😂, it’s pretty common as you said in South East Asia, however I didn’t know they did that in the gulf at all! FZ seems to have a very nifty looking aircraft interior 👍🏾.
Thanks for the review.
That is a no no in the west. If they suspect you’re doing that they’ll cancel your visa and deport you.
Dan, the girls next to Costa remember you!! 😂😂😂
LOL I just noticed that😂
Hey Dan could you do a trip report low cost airline in Australia like Rex airlines Jetstar thanks 🙏
Hi Dan, glad to see that you are bringing the handsome Oscar on your flight ❤❤❤
Wow COOL travel VLOG! I HATE bus gates! but SLICK cabin. Economy can be a great way to save $$$: I usually do consider it for flights 2 hours and under. HAVE A GREAT VACAY!
Dan for a long time I was wanting you to travel to my home country Kuwait and funny enough you are here so I wish you the best also u need to try Kuwait airways it’s a underdog in the gcc!
The airport that you went to i have also and it is very crowded and it was pretty small a but i cool airport
budget does not really apply to flydubai because it is more like a hybrid and unique business model because it offers In-flight entertainment, business class, and food onboard..
Extended legroom seats are available on Fly Dubai for an additional fee. Well worth paying. Emirates/Fly Dubai has a lounge accessible to those with status (Skywards Silver and above I think). Don't expect an Emirates-style lounge but it is really the only bearable place to wait in T2. Drinks, including alcohol, and a limited range of food available FOC.
Interesting Emirates built itself a shinning expansive terminal giving guests a wow impression yet on the other side of the airport you would be forgiven to not think you’re in Dubai with all his modern high rises.
I have been on flydubai
My aunt’s brother is a pilot for FlyDubai
I noticed the Saudi roots for flyDubai costs the same as emirates economy 😢
Isn't 737-max dangerous to fly these days? 🤔
5' 10'' is about 177cm not 187
Shorts on a plane? That can't be a good idea
Above 178cm*** (187cm is 6'2")
idk that RI looks super swanky, especially for 11k
That's not fair 😮😮😢😢
How come you only blur certain people’s faces? Did those people specifically ask for you to blur their faces? 😂
He's blurring the faces of the people that are really close to the camera and can be distinguished easily
I respect vlogger who blurs people's faces as no one should have the right to film anyone without their consent. It's what you call respect. I do that, too whenever I post something. Respect for other people's privacy ☺️🙏
How tall is Oskar?
180 cm!
Can you fly Kuwait Airways frankfurt to kuwait Biman bangladesh dhaka to London regent airways Dhaka to Singapore us bangla airlines Dhaka to Dubai Novoair Cox Bazar to Dhaka Air Astra Dhaka to Cox Bazar Bangladesh Country Asia Airline 5
Five foot ten and 187 cm are two different heights.👍
How does this guy only have 13.5k subs?
This is not his only channel.
@@nikserof2183 wich channel more?
Yep this is the flying I know. Cramped sweaty, standing around for no reason, starving, thirsty and tired. I prefer to drive to any of my destination because nothing in this world can justify to me paying 1.500€ for a plane ticket knowing dudes in the back paid 250. That is the only thing I really am cheep about.
That airport looked like hell on earth.
after getting bronchitis in China ten days ago (Im still sick), Im gonna start using masks again in every flight
Yikes hope you feel better soon😩🙏
Argusbly: Everything is expensive in Kuwait as no one goes unless they have to do so.
I was very surprised yiu mentioned the effect of the visa situation on Tourism. Touridts arguably font go to Kuwait!
Nice video and great to see the plusses and minuses of Fly Dubai.
I always take Qatar Airways. But for a change I booked a flight with emirates. A long haul flight. Then after transit from Dubai to Colombo I had to take flydubai. That was horrible. I paid more than 1700€ for my whole journey. It wasnt worth it! They dont even have proper entertaintment. Food is terrible. Qatar Airways is the best!
you should take your wife on these trips ...to interact on youtube would be more interesting
Dubai desperate need money as kawait don't need money
Dan. Good video again however maybe the visa run mention could have included some background on the treatment of migrant workers.
Thanks! I doubt any migrant workers are the ones doing a visa run though😅
So why you think they keep them on board? Workers are kept on board so they don’t escape or cause problems for the country they’re flying to. It’s also openly spoken about because the gulf countries agreed and that’s how they promote slave labor. The migrant could go back to their home country and reapply like most parts of the world, but the host country don’t want them leaving hence the allowance of a ‘visa run’. In most countries that don’t practice such poor labor standards that is frown upon and could lead to cancellation of one’s visa by the authorities if you’re suspected of evading the immigration laws. A quick day trip and you’re back working in the heat building Dubai up to look like a paradise and the cycle continues. It’s also a front to appear like they’re abiding by international standards but it’s not really what it appears after the huge backlash to employers seizing passports and keeping workers against their will. Basically keep them on short term visas so they’ll never feel comfortable all while creating no path to legal residency or citizenship like most other countries do.
Definitely down with wearing masks while traveling! Sorry for poor plant-based options at the airport. Have you ever requested a meal that isn't marked as "vegan" (e.g., oriental vegetarian) that ended up not being vegan?
That has never happened thankfully😅
It’s so untrue fly Dubai isn’t a budget airline it’s as same as emirates costs. Stop fooling fooling people
Just curious, as a gay couple how are you guys traveling to the Middle East? I don’t even eat Chic FIL A
Are they even a gay couple 😂
it's better to travel on ship than flying with idiotic looser airline flydubai. worse experience every single time
I flew Sofia to Dubai and I can say without any question, Fly Dubai has been the worst flying experience of my life - it is hard to conceive anything 10 times worse than WizzAir but then Fly Dubai comes along, I would rather walk to Dubai then get that load of junk again.
Love you dan your content is amazing❤
