    "WHAT A FOOL BELIEVES" LYRICS:
    He came from somewhere back
    In his long ago
    (Sentimental fools don't see)
    Tryin' hard to recreate
What had yet to be created
    Once in their lives
    She musters a smile
    For a nostalgic tale
Never comin' near what he wanted to say
    Only to realize
    It never really was
She had a place in his life
He never made her think twice
As he rises to her apology
    Anybody else would surely know
    He's watching her go
    But what a fool believes
    He sees
No wise man has the power
    To reason away
    What seems to be
    Is always better than nothing
    And nothing at all
Is sending him somewhere back in his long ago
    (Right back there alone)
    Where he can still believe
There's a place in his life
    (Somehow, someday)
    She will return
She had a place in his life
(He) He never made her think twice
As he rises to her apology
    Anybody else would surely know
    He's watching her go
    What a fool believes
(I know she's never going away)
    He sees
No wise man has the power
    (Ain't nobody got it)
    To reason away
    What seems
(Nobody's gonna tell him, I bet)
To be (They're always watching me)
    Always better than nothing
    Nothing at all
    He's making a fool believe
    (You're a fool, you're such a fool)
    He sees
No wise man has the power
    To reason away
    (Nobody got it)
    What seems
(I know one day she's going away)
    To be
(I know one day she's going back, she's going back)
(Nobody can take that, forever a fool) Believes
    (You're a fool, you're such a fool)
    He sees
(You don't believe no wise man has the power)

It's pretty fabulous to have him and so many other talented musicians in Tulsa or at least visiting for a while, to share new memories and to bring back old memories. Thank you so much.

I’ve always loved Kenny’s voice & he used to be so good looking. He didn’t need that botched plastic surgery, now he’s unrecognizable. Someone would have to tell me who was because I wouldn’t recognize him now.

WHEN WAS THIS VIDEO RECORDED? IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE VERSION BY MICHAEL MCDONALD MADE THIS SONG WHAT IT IS TODAY
KENNY LOGGINS IS A GREAT SONGWRITER BUT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HE HAS GROWN OLDER AND WITH AGE HE HAS LOST PART OF HIS SINGING VOICE. PERHAPS WITH JIMMY MESSINA LOGINS TODAY MIGHT SOUND MORE HARMONIC. JUST AS AN ASIDE, MICHAEL MCDONALD WHO SPENT EARLY DAYS WITH THE DOOBIE BROTHERS UNFORTUNATELY CREATED MISERY FOR HIMSELF WITH HIS BEHAVIORS IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW FOR MANY YEARS.

@@michaelprince9572 hey pal- This was recorded This Past SUNDAY- ON KENNY'S 76TH BIRTHDAY> January 7, 2024. Just for the record, he hasn't LOST anything. He chose this subtle rendition that he and Mike arranged and did together, Live at the Redwoods. He can still sing his ass off. ANY Key, Anytime. He has Not ever done what most singers do at that age - drop the key down a step or so to sing it. Kenny and Michael wrote this ( and many other hits ) That FIRST song THEY wrote, got 2 Grammys for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year. Make no mistake- he has lost nothing. he can blow the doors off with his powerful voice in any range. This was just a soft arrangement.
