Back in 1987 I was bicycling back from the beach in Santa Barbara to my girlfriends house on Loma when I saw a group of peope filming at a park...I rode over there in time for a break they were taking, turns out it was a video shoot with Kenny Loggins. I went up to him like I knew him and although I wasn't a huge fan, I knew my girlfriends room mate Sherry was, so I asked him for an autograph. He grabbed a sharpie from someone since we couldn't find a pen, and as he looked for something to write on, I pulled out a 5dollar bill and gave it to him....he signed it "To Sherry with Love, Kenny Loggins"....that was how humble he was, anything for a fan. I wonder 38 years later if Sherry still has that 5dollar bill.
