In the world of animation, Illumination is quickly solidifying itself as a top animation studio among Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks... Their first feature film Despicable Me was a smash hit that ran away with the box office and introduced us to…the Minions. Love them or hate them, the Minions skyrocketed Illumination into stardom and they started making plenty of films. Films need villains and sometimes those villains can be extremely powerful… Or, in some cases, surprisingly weak. But today, we want to find out how they stack up against each other.

Mike is more of a protagonist of the movie. Even though he is pretty selfish and egotistical, he is still the protagonist and Gru is the main protagonist

Technically, Gru is reformed and has become a hero instead of a villain. The same applies for Dr. Nefario and Dru
True, but he was pretty cruel to many people. Also, Dru never reformed; he betrayed his brother and stole his Minions, just because he was tired of Gru being a nice father and husband and not a villain.
Dru was the opposite. He became a villain instead of a hero at the end.

I wouldn’t exactly call Vector too smart, as he failed to notice Gru actually stealing the Shrink Ray, and only payed attention to the girls selling him cookies, as well as brushing off the cookie he ate having broken circuitry and Gru disappearing quickly before he could spot him, both next to the vault and his living room, where he was watching a movie. His father scolded him for it.
But he has glasses
He's smart but absentminded, and overconfident. He created all those advanced (but stupid) gadgets, so at least he has some talent.
What about the Vicious Six? I’d say they’re at the top even outdoing El Macho by their zodiac animal forms being more godly possibly.

I would have thought Jimmy Crystal would be more powerful than Dru, but that's just my opinion, and I would have also ranked Scarlet Overkill higher.

The mouse is kind of an a**hole but villain is a stretch. He's selfish and doesn't care about the other characters, but he acts more neutrally. Just in it for himself. Not out to help or harm anyone else.
Sing 1 didn't really have a villain. Just obstacles to overcome in a largely indifferent world.
One could argue the bears are the "villains" of Sing because they did pose an actual threat to the main cast (and possibly even killed Mike at the end of the movie since they grab onto his car and Mike is never seen again) unlike Mike who is really just self centered but doesn't pose an actual threat to anyone
