wanda Algarin onions are not accidic drop the lime and use olive oil.
wanda Algarin wow that's hard... usually I replace onion with... another type of onion :3. She's using scallion here... most onion like thing that is not onion, have you tried it ? I also do this with pickles they would counter tomato enough there would be no need for onion. Just drop anything that you like... it's rly cheep to experiment with that lol

I actually have made many things because you make it look easy! Apple bread pudding-awesome! Oven baked shrimp-yummy! Nutella braid bread-aahhh! I started baking bread and pizza because you made it look possible!! My 6 month old granddaughter watches with me and laughs and yells when you say "Hi guys!" :)

I love your recipes. We lived along the border and our maid made really great Pico, same recipe as yours, but she added just a lid full of vinegar. It cut the acidity, but improved the flavor.
I love when the pico de gallo sits in the fridge for a good day and the juices are wonderful.

Golden mexican recipe! And, the thing is, try to leave it set for at least 30 minutes, so the jalapeños and (white) onion can "cook" and get soft into the lime juice.
This salsa is always made for watching football soccer, and goes with rind cracklings (but without the pepper)

Hi Laura love you and love your recipes, I have tried this recipe with a sprinkle of fennel seeds, what a lovely twist on flavours, try it, I think you'll like it. Also with Italian parsley in place of cilantro (coriander) Ciao e grazzi per tutti. Spud from Canada

I love to make Pico De Gallo. I use four Jalapenos, with yellow onions ( a little milder than the white onions) and for the limes, I jest them and juice them and three tablespoons of rice wine vinegar. If I want it really spice, I'll take a scotch bonnet and take out the seeds and mince it up very fine a put it with the rest of the ingredients. Very flavorful and spicy too. I got an a award for best Pico De Gallo contest. Try it!!!

I think my friend makes the same thing except that he adds canned tuna into it without the excess liquid. I normally don't like fish but I really liked how he made it.

I just made this and put it on top of zucchini fried in egg batter. omfg! So good. You take a piece of fried zucchini, you put a bit of garlic sauce (just garlic crushed in oil) on it, then drop the salsa on top. It's heaven!

I just made this 30 mins ago. But I liked it a bit spicier so I added a it of cayenne and just a hint of garlic powder and it's PERFECTION.

I had it with white onion and no jalapeno but with plum tomatoes. I agree no white onion green is better and I agree the white is more over powering. Thanks for sharing
