  • Local Ground, Mon Town, 11AM, April 5: Around 5000 Konyak Naga women in traditional attires dance to an enchanting ceremonial song invoking blessings on the people and the Aoleang Festival in an attempt to enter the Guinness World Record as the “Largest Traditional Konyak Dance.” The mega event, held as a part of the ongoing Aoleang-cum-Mini Hornbill Festival 2019, “aim to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Konyaks on a global platform as well as to promote tourism in the region.”
