Tbh the SOLO mode is probably the best place to put FTKs in, you can have fun drowning in card advantage and no one is bored by it.

Just to repeat the trivia Shien means Blue Flame but Shi En means death flame
Purple flame
Shien signature flag is purple and symbolized by his attribute dark, even after becoming a daimyo he wear a robe with purple motive in the unification artwork. Kagemusha of the blue flame was a mistranslation.

Once per turn S/T negate plus a double compulse was broken as hell

@@MrOz1705 ocg banlist aren't very sales based and they sometimes explain why they keep ftks in the game.
Remember in 2019 when they limit vfd because they knew that some fun deck required it to put a decent board turn 1, like valkries and edge imps essentially saying "we will limit it because some weaker decks needs it to put fighting chance against better deck and if you guys keep abusing it, then we will ban it"
They knew that fluffal and valkrie can summon vfd, and hesitate to ban it.
Tcg banlist from ocg players perspective feels like "your deck is now dead, go buy new box"

Honestly, it's not even just the MD Solo mode, which arguably is not _that_ important for the business: Some archetype names also make me wonder how much effort went the translation (including the possibility of names that are entirely different in the literal sense but fit way better than any attempt at such a literal translation).

But you're definitely right; but you would expect Konami to put in at least the base amount of effort and get some proper localization going. At least in English, if not any other supported language...

Well, that's just not Konami's general target audience.
True, a multi-milliard dollar company should have some money to spare for proof reading, which could probably be done by any English-speaking adult who was born and raised in the respective language (and if it's just some uni-level student who's in for a few bucks, that would most likely be enough as long as they actually speak the target language).
Ironically, there's like 4-5 FTKs with Six Sam's and two of them are off 1 card combos. Source? Been playing them since Strike of Neos, still my main deck.
with invoker being back, I can use punk engine for 1 card combos, and have 12 flex slots + literal ftk which i love
@@carbonjoshg4288 Have you tried fucking around with the new Rescue Hedgehog and/or sublimation knight along with the new infernoble stuff? Not only are there new one card combo starters, with RH you can have one of the monsters you summon be a 3star igknight and then search the other three star with Isolde. That's right, you can now PEN SUMMON in six sams 🤣
@@OMIMox nicee, i gotta try that out cause last time in tcg i was running wakaushi as a 1 card combo, but with that line i had to dedicate the normal summon to full ftk, and wakaushi wouldnt even go to pend zone

@@carbonjoshg4288 Here's a tip: you can do literally whatever you want if you cycle through sarujas. Using the many ways to get great general+gateway+temple for infinite Bushido counters (use the magispecter dracoslayer to get temple). Get all of your search targets out of the deck and then summon a 4mat saruja skull dread getting it's draw 4 bottom deck 3 effect (THIS IS THE BROKEN PART), use it's effect to summon legendary enishi from your hand, enishi's return effect to return saruja, use whatever you need to get him in the grave and then add him back with gateway, go through your saruja line again (normally 2 kizan into great general, then same 2 kizan into shadow shien, then one more kizan and a grandmaster for 4mats) and then summon skull dread again. What you've done now is *fully broken everything* because The full combo already gets over half your deck out and you'll have more than enough six Sam targets in grave that you used for the combo itself to fuel enishi's non-hard-opt bounce anything effect on saruja 4 or 5 times to draw YOUR ENTIRE FUCKING DECK and put whatever you don't want at the bottom. This works because from the point you start drawing with saruja, you don't have to search anymore so you don't shuffle your deck, and everything is lined up however you want it by the end. The world is literally your oyster; you can use all the stupid bullshit you've always wanted to use but never could because it required two or three unesearchables. My favorite build is getting the errata-ed Makyura on the field and then linking him off so you can activate The six Shinobi first turn, skipping your opponents entire first turn. In my opinion, the dumbest one is something you might have already guessed: *exodia.* Six Sam exodia is a thing, and it's fucking marvelous.
3:19 that was funny. This has to be the easiest solo mode in the game, every hand produces and OTK. I'm honestly surprised that Six Samurai is not a little more common in the ladder. If the opponent uses Maxx "C" you suddenly have a win condition, and this deck can definitely put a negate for Nibiru.
Because you need Gateway to do everything and if they Ash your Battle Shogun, your deck becomes Appo pass

Apparently red and blue legendary sixsams had at least 2 kids: kagemusha (shi en's double) and the girl secret sixsam/ninja iirc

Just built a six samurai deck because of this. It's very fun making my opponent watch me play for 30 minutes before I FTK them

During the solo mode duel, I spent 20 minutes building a board of every boss monster in my extra deck just because I could, before killing my opponent.
I really hope we can get more six samurai support in the future, it's such a fun underrated deck.

Just to clarify, Tenkabito Shien is the same character as the Great Shogun. Take it as just a snapshot of his life on the battlefield if you like. Tenkabito means "Conqueror of the World".
I think Battle Shogun (the link monster) is supposed to be Shi En's father.
There's a special feeling when you get full combo for Six Sam. It usually accompanies a falling sensation as you feel yourself going down to hell, lol.

Six Sam lore literally is "So have you heard of NOBUNAGA ODA?!" and I am all there for it.
The only archetype that is more heavy handed on it's lore inspiration is Ancient Warriors literally just using the fucking names and nicknames of every asshole from the romance of the three kingdoms and having Lu Bu betray your ass.
2:00 Actually, there is no card for the original Shi En (I suppose it could be that old YGO card of him on a horse). Legendary Shi En becomes Great Shogun when he shows his true colours.
Tenkabito is Shien, not Shien's dad. Remember that Shien is basically Oda Nobunaga: Tenka-bito was a title given to Nobunaga.

I did a post about this on zodiac pointing out to the poor design choices of konami.
Every braindead tryhard was telling me how easy it was to break the infinite combo, or how to defeat the amazing "end board" that I posted, consisting of... triple kizan and 1 link... never mentioning it was even an endboard (it was middle of infinite comboing).
People, when you start seeing "break my board" posts even in your mother faces, go to therapy before you end up like those guys.
That's just Zodiac being themselves.

tbf the ftk dies to every handtrap and then you lose on the spot. Its an ftk suicide deck. The opponent only needs to draw one single handtrap from 12 in their opening hand and they win instantly
