M.I.A. was written by 3RACHA and co-composed/co-arranged with Kim Mong-e
Of their ~120 songs as of 1/4/2022 (including SKZ-Records/Players and OSTs and features but excluding 3RACHA pre-debut mixtapes), there are only 11 songs where they did not work on the composing/arranging (Blueprint, Booster, Going Dumb, Here Always, My Universe, Neverending Story, Phobia, Road Not Taken, Star Lost, Wow, You... Like the Wind)
Even for all the other 100+ songs, the vast majority list 3RACHA as the main producers before other names on the tracklist
To my knowledge, there are no songs in the entire discography including features and collabs where they have no hand in the lyrics (correct me if I'm wrong), and 99% are written entirely by SKZ
It's truly incredible to see how they take self-producing to the next level

They made every single song in their discography either entirely or partially (along with the other Stray Kids members who participated in a few of their songs too)
As of the recent komca update all 3racha chan changbin and han are credited for over a 100 songs
49:57 it was lee know but dont worry as youre just getting into them, the more you listen the more youll be able to identitfy their voices better. in fact you guys are doing amazing as baby stays! lee know's voice is more light and airy and sometimes bright. most falsettos are done by him because of this, i.n has more of a rasp and nasal sound to his vocals so perhaps you can tell them apart like this
All 3racha are usually in charge of directing during recording sessions (since they make the songs the melodies and the guides and know how they want the song to sound like) mostly chan (as far as we've seen) but he mostly gives the rap directing to changbin so you see changbin directing hyunjin a lot when recording a rap
I wanted you to know that the guides for their "I Am series and the beginning of Cle series" were all recorded on their small dorm, they didn't have a studio then so they had to record everything at their dorm, and as my fellow Stays have said, 3racha are responsible for producing their songs~

Lee Know and Bang Chan did a skz-player called Drive. At some time in the future maybe you could do a video on skz players/records (those are original songs/choreos and some covers that the members release as solo or units)
For Mixtape 2 the whole first verse part is Changbin and then after the chorus the verse is all Hyunjin's.
That "Hyunjin is up to no good" at the end - girl, as a Hyunjin stan I can't remember how many times he have killed me and left me breathless.. seriously he should be arrested already lol! 😂

You guys should check out skz2020 and skz2021, those albums consist of their old songs that you guys will see if you're gonna continue reacting to their songs in chronological order. They re-recorded it without the ex-member and even changed some of the lyrics so all the credits goes to the current members.

Hey guys i would really recommend watching the lyric video for insomnia and mixtape 2 maybe in your own time as there was so many members that you assumed wrong and its understandable as you don't know there voices but it really would be helpful

changbin hyunjin is hyuniebinie duo you would see them back to back rapping a lot in a lot of skz songs.
I think a major reason you have problems with misidentifying Lee Know's or even Han's vocals as Seungmin's is because you're still operating under the mindset of set positions -- main vocals and whatnot. Despite them and us still using position terms as shorthand, they don't actually exist anymore, because what's the point in a group where everyone does everything? If you let preconceptions go and constantly keep in mind that _all_ of them can really, truly sing, it'll probably start being easier to correctly identify voices.

Mixtape series is written by all the members. Stray Kids has released SKZ2021 including all the Mixtape series OT8 version. For Mixtape 1 (= Placebo) they just recently have released a cute music video as well as their Christmas present to STAY. You should check it out, once you will check out Mixtape 1.

also there are all in all 5 mixtapes that were pre-debut songs by 3racha re-written by all the members!!!
In their new album skz2021 that came out on the 28th of December they have re-recorded some songs as ot8! and in there you will find that they changed the names for the mixtapes to the original 3racha titles!! Except for this one this is now called 'Behind the Light' whereas the 3racha song is called 'Where there is Shadow there must be light'!!
The others are:
Mixtape #1 -> Placebo
Mixtape #3 -> For You
Mixtape #4-> Broken Compass
Mixtape #5 (which was a hidden song in their levanter album) -> Hoodie Season
All these songs are really personal and the ot8 versions have have some changed lyrics especially Mixtape #2 so it's definitely worth it to check them out maybe at the end of the album series!!
They have done skz2020 and skz2021 where they re-recorded combined nearly all the songs into ot8 songs!! There are some missing but only very little of them :)

i recommend checking the new versions of their old songs on the albums skz2020 and skz2021, they re-recorded their old songs and made it ot8 giving the parts of the member that left to other members, and they sound so good

To this day, M.I.A is my favorite Stray Kids song. It used to give me so much comfort while struggling with depression as a young adult, and now that I am doing a bit better, it's a reminder to not lose myself completely again.
And overall this is also one of my favorite albums from them, I still listen to this album on the regular. It's funny how on both series (Stray Kids' and Ateez's) you guys posted a reaction to both my favorite albums from them at the same time hahaha I'm not complaining though, I love it.

You girls need to understand that Chris makes all the tracks. He walks around with a laptop and gear and he makes tracks. When they go to showcases he’s sometimes not in the room with the other guys because he’s making tracks. When they are on tour and you see the guys hanging out in a hotel room together, Chris will be missing because he’s in another room making tracks. He doesn’t sleep because he’s making tracks. He’s always working. And then when the others come to him with an idea for a song he’s like ok check out this track do you like it? They have tons of unfinished demos just sitting on his laptop. They do the entire song creation and production process themselves except for the arranging. So the final polishing of the song they get help with but other than that it’s 100% them. They only have a handful of songs that were written for them by JYP himself or that is a collaboration. It’s hard to wrap your head around because they’re so young and it’s so unusual. But JYP saw Chris making these tracks when he was a trainee and saw him bring 3racha together and saw what they were coming up with on their own and was like ok Chris I’m going to let you put a group together and self produce as a 20 year old. He trusts them that much. He’s actually said in recent interviews that he’s intimidated by them. That he’s afraid to give them a song in case they might not like it. The company has a mostly hands off approach to the group. When the members say we want to do such and such the company and their management team just say ok. When they wanted to throw out the lead single on their upcoming album and replace it with Gods Menu which they made last minute, JYP himself said if you believe in this let’s do it. You should start watching some of the behind the scenes stuff to get a better understanding of the group. I would start with their survival show. Love your videos by the way.
M.I.A. stands for the obvious "missing in action," but the group says it as "미아" or basically "stray/lost child/children" (so, yeah, "stray kids"). As you noticed, they're singing to their younger, simpler, happier versions, whom they've lost.
If you like the iconic "There ya go, mate," wait until you encounter other classics like "Like, mate, stop procrastinating." Or the less overtly Aussie but nonetheless accented "'Cause I'm a nice guy who just has a lot of money" or "Iron Man in the streets, but I'm better than Tony" (which, no, doesn't actually make sense, but he was a kid, so we give him a pass, especially considering the rest of that song).

One of my favorite tidbits is JYP was very critical of Hyunjin’s rapping, especially his pronunciation, and Changbin took Hyunjin aside and told him to just rap/sing comfortably and to project because he understood his natural talent. Also the three main song writers (3racha) all pick members and write verses and lines specifically for them. I know Changbin loves writing for Felix and hyunjin (and woojin before he left) Han wrote for Seungmin, and Lee know specifically. I believe Chan singled out IN and Felix. Stay correct me if I’m wrong 🙏🏼
Yes, although obviously there's plenty of overlap and they'll all write for everyone. To add: the members also often get to choose what parts they want, barring ones that are specifically written for a particular voice (like Felix's killing parts or a Han rap or whatever). For instance, Seungmin choosing his rap section in Cheese. I love that they have so much creative freedom both from outside influences _and_ within the group itself.
