Thank you so much for the reaction Christy! It was so relatable. We ALL cried in Lonely street with the relatable feeling of isolation, and felt rejuvenated by the hope of WAITING FOR US. And yes, Charmer is absolutely creative genius; the album is a banger indeed!
I do hope you guys would be inclined to continue your skz journey from Go Live next! There are so many hidden gems sprinkled in their bsides! And you’re right, Chan once mentioned how the “true” sound of Stray Kids truly began to show after Gods menu (which is Go alive era) so cant wait for those reactions!!

Yeah. Most of Changbin Written songs are heartbreaking.
According to I.N, ‘Waiting for us’ 2 verses were written by Lee Know, the whole hook written by Seungmin, and bridge by I.N. Chris did the whole structure.
Lee Know was talking so proudly as Chris immediately approved what he wrote.
I really like the fact not only 3RACHA, but all the members getting to write their lyrics and top lines.

Stray kids loved "details" in their songs, like the drilling sound in maniac, the strings like a spiderweb in venom, then the flute in charmer, the knockig on back door, thunder lightning in thunderous and the lists goes on. They're the most creative and so unique group and the more you deep dive to them you will see how transparent they're through their fans while making a music, like cmon now, how many times already that they did a vlive or this one content of them making and writing their music infront of stays. You will love them, you really will, and it'll be hard for you to go back up, because NO ONE, NO ONE is doing it like skz.
Oh yeah, that's why their slogan is "Stray Kids Everywhere All Around The World" chan said it is not only them who is a Stray Kids, but they're referring to all stray kids in the world, we, all around the world in the same district that is still astray and finding themselves. When I heard Lonely Street, it reminded me of Streetlight which was written by Changbin especially there was a section in the video where he was sitting alone in a stadium.
I'm so glad you two decided to dive into Stray Kids. This is why I love their music, because they write and compose and produce it with such sincerity and it allows people to connect to the songs on a deeper level. Waiting For Us and Lonely St are sharing a part of their soul to comfort the listener. Meanwhile, they can always pull off innovative sounds and hard-hitting delivery through songs like Charmer too. Their versatility is truly amazing
It's definitely after the Cle series that they established a more defined sound, and there's so much variety in the full albums, more ballads are coming, really excited for Go live/In life/Noeasy ❤❤

No but...Lonely St does indeed sound like a Han Jisung type of song, but he actually wasn't involved with the writing this time, it was just Chan and Changbin. Skz have a song called "Slump" that you guys will get to eventually and that song is 100% written by Han Jisung and you'll see why STAYs tend to pair "Lonely St" with "Slump" as the emo duo of skz songs. 😭

I found it interesting when Christy mentioned about Stray Kids being #1 on Billboard 200 while the intro of ‘waiting for us’ was playing because Stray Kids actually posted a video on their channel celebrating being #1 using waiting for us as the background music.

The unit songs are also my faves from the album bc everybody got a chance to flex their vocals/rap, especially on Waiting For Us bc with SKZ being such a rap heavy group, these are the 4 that you don't hear as often and they WENT OFF with the vocals!! I can never not tear up when I hear it. I'm so proud of my boys, they did so well with this comeback!

There're some videos from their concert in Korea and Japan which Charmer has been brought in there with choreo.
