nice man ! I have similar mods super cool. Can you show the lanolin you use please? I use some stretching balm from Amazon that works good, also ill use Aquaphor when they get irritated. I'm at 44mm trying to get to 50mm. Takes so much time, recently I've adapted to cleaning and a small massage or tugs at least once a day and they have loosened up and stopped getting irritated, they are nice looking like yours now (after having irritated ears for so long and struggling to stabilize them, I'm so happy) Good luck bro.
Yes certainly, that would be no problem. I was thinking I'd probably show it in my next video. It is just a generic brand, nothing fancy. Yeah to do it properly really takes a lot of time! Much more time than most people really appreciate. One of the most common things people ask me these days is how long I've been stretching them. They're often more shocked by that than how big they are hahaha! My routine is pretty similar. I've done at least one rub a day for as long as I can remember now. Usually I'll do two, especially in the colder months. The Lanolin is a new addition though. Is 50mm your end goal or just you next target? & good luck to you too :-)
I'm guessing that is what you mean. The reason I'm able to get them back to 76mm as quickly as I have is because prior to this hiccup with the cold weather they were 3inch for a year. In fact most of 2023 they were larger than that, they spent most of the year between 78-80mm. I had shrunk them down a little in preparation for winter to keep them healthy. In fact quite some time prior to that at their largest they were 96mm, almost 4inch. When your ears are well established at huge sizes, if they are left to settle a little bit smaller for a short period of time, they will loosen off again much much easier. It is more akin to the tissue relaxing vs needing to grow new tissue for the first time with a fresh stretch. If that's what you mean at least. If you mean how did I get them this large to begin with? Well thats because I have been stretching them 18 years and it certainly wasn't easy haha! I've had plenty of issues along the way, I've learned an enormous emount in that time. What I hope by documenting these latest setbacks here on CZcams, is to show that even now I'm still learning. I'm still making mistakes. It's a long and winding path and even I still have a long way to go 😊
Literally just time and patients, that really is 99% of it. It's a long slow process. If you really are struggling it is always a good idea to have a chat with a local professional artist who can look at them in person and offer advice. It's possible that all sorts of little things could be slowing your progress. Thing like your ear care routine and their overall health, the methods and the jewelery you use to stretch, how much you try to stretch in one go etc. Without being able to look in person, there's not a great deal someone can do online. My first questions would be how long do you wait in between each stretch and how much do you try to stretch them in one go?
