The painting depicts a quiet, secluded place among the mountain cliffs. Heavy, massive rocks protect like a wall, keeping the place calm. The pure mountain lake is so transparent that all the beauty of its bottom is visible. Old oaks powerfully spread their openwork crowns, attracting with their majesty. Fresh greens and blooming wildflowers filled the air with a fragrant aroma. Thunderclouds lingered on the mountain peaks, pouring fertile rains on the earth. In this mysterious beautiful place is the abode of those who love the Lord. Often people gather here to be alone with God, to reflect on the meaning of life and find answers to many questions of their souls...

This painting reminds me of a local area we have that has a small river running through it with marshes on each side and the grandeur of mountains in the background. One can image this scene is the same that the early natives looked upon ten thousand years ago. There is the sense of timeless beauty and sacredness.

Your work and your painting, along with the music you selected move me and it seems I am participating in a way. It's as if I can enter into your painting and into your studio with you to also pause on my own journey to reflect as I gaze with you into a scene gazing back at you, and me, and anyone else pausing to do so.
