- My first animatic!! This project was certainly a surprise considering that 4 weeks ago I had never done animation of any sort (and the fact that this was originally going to be a cosplay channel), but this podcast has grabbed my imagination like nothing I could have believed and I decided to jump into something new with the most complicated starting project I could think of!
Fanart is what first got me into online fandoms years ago, and I've wanted to get back into it and try animation for a while now! I am sure I'll spot a hundred things to improve as I look back on this, but right now I'm just incredibly proud that I actually managed to draw this much and complete this project!

Oh my gosh I can't even start on how amazing this is!!! I am in love!!! This song is perfect for this!!!
From that begining with the outline of an eye opening to reveal 'Elias', I was hooked! I love the green 'shadow' behind each of the eyes that float around throughout the video.
_"...and someone betrays you"_ * Season 1 Tim replaces Current Tim * oof my heart 😿
I loved the visual on _"comes that moment of reconing"_ with the paper in Martin's hand.
_"Till we sell our souls"_ and then it shows the various entities that they're avatars for?!?! Amazing!
_"Better you than me"_ That transition tho!!!❤️️
_"We al are caught in the middle"_ I love the staging of this shot! and the green shadows again, gorgeous!
_"Who trusts who? Maybe I'll trust you."_ ouch! my heart!
_"But can you trust me"_ that cut to 'Elias' (and then that sneaky flash to Jonah Magnus) was magnificent!
Also the fact that the last word of the song is _"See"_ and you ended with the all the eyes was shear poetry.

(I have also come to the conclusion that I need to listen to/watch a 'slime tutorial' of Scarlet Pimpernel cause that song is a banger)
Most of the character designs are very reminiscent of the "average" portrayal in the internet (which I find fascinating as it is, for the community to large reach a consensus from audio sources and scarce descriptions if any alone) but your Mel is really something else. I love her ... vitiligo/cafe aut lait? skin and the way she apparently owns it and styled her whole visual identity after it. It's really unique!
Good work on the drawings, animations and timing!
Maitan I agree, it’s so interesting to see how people translate podcasts into visual works/agree on certain traits! I had seen a bunch of fan art before I ever listened, and it definitely influenced how I pictured everyone haha! And THANK YOU! This is so good - I can't believe it's your first animatic! Moments that really struck me: the hand crushing the tape, the fog transitions, the back and forth at 2:04, the circle turning into an eye, and most of all how you drew them changing position at 2:37 and 2:40.

I love this so, so much. The character designs and the way it all fits so well with the story - it's SO GOOD.
2:41 makes a lot of sense in the way that Martin is looking to Jon, but more so in the sense that he's the only one with the back towards the camera, which is 100% him.
I think this is my favorite TMA animatic ever! The art, the transitions, it's just *chef's kiss*

You're gonna be swimmingvin similar comments soon but G O S H . This was REALLY GOOD. I love love love the colours you used and the movement of it all and the small detail and the original ways you used the movement and shadows and eyes and ahhhhh.... Jon's Eye got me. And ....okay, I need to watch this several more times to unpack all the parallels and stuff but, by gods, This. Is. Beautiful.
