They’re talking about singing diction, not his regular speaking voice. If you listen to Little Mix performances, they enunciate really well while singing.
The girls themselves also has thick accents and they're diction too is different when SPEAKING and SINGING. They need to put that into consideration to find who would fit. If you know more, try being the judge then hun.
