My mother was given tickets to the tribute, by her college school mate, Gloria King, aka "King Family" from Ephesians Church in Berkeley. I'm sitting in the lower level toward the back with my mom, when Karen gets on stage and starts to sing. When she started to scant, the holy spirit hit me soo hard, I leaped out of my seat, hollered "YEAH." People got up and the rest is history. I'll never forget that There is noway you sit down on that song! Ericka from Mary MAry was there and Ledsi killed this one song, but KAREN was on point!!!
