  • Do you want to learn how to use off camera flash for your wedding photography? In this video, I break it all down: the gear that I use, how I set it up, my exposure/flash power settings, and my thought process and approach. From there, I take you behind the scenes so you can see how I photograph an indoor wedding reception using the Fujifilm X-T3 and off camera flash from start to finish.

    This off-camera flash tutorial is so good that I keep on watching it. I have a question Reggie. Instead of the two Godox AD200, would the Godox V860ii have enough power? You're only using them as rim lighting so you don't really need that much power, right?

    Thanks Reggie, another great video. Do you ever have any issues at venues with wedding planners or brides complaining about allllllll the flashing??

    • @Reggiebphoto
      @Reggiebphoto  Před 4 lety +1

      I’ve only had one complaint in 6 years. And it was a venue with a low ceiling and very cramped table layout. I ended up moving the flash to another location in order to accommodate the guest.
      But other than that, I haven’t. The flash is pointed at the couple and it’s only in heavy use when everyone else is looking at the couple too.

I use two Godox ad100pro and the Godox v1 as trigger and fill light. I pair it with my canon r5 and 28-70 f2. Yeah camera and lens are heavy but I don’t have to carry two bodies now. So it’s a win for me. Also I do use two cheap translucent umbrellas for the Godox ad100c helps soften the light and also better light spreading.
