In the early hours of the hot August summer morning in the French Alps, Aurélien Dunand-Pallaz laced his shoes for a long day in his favorite mountains.
Not just a training like any other...he had decided to revisit his childhood roots and essentially ´play´ in his own backyard. He had mapped the route joining his home in Saint-Jorioz with his parents home in Marthod through the ‪@PNRMassifdesBauges‬ . A beautiful 70km with 5,300mD+ summiting a few of his favorite peaks and iconic ridges in the area to complete a successful, yet highly satisfying training day.
After 9hr30 he took one step close to his final 2023 goal of conquering La Reunion´s Diagonale des Fous.
