  • Learn how to use WS Form to calculate delivery charges based on the driving distance between 2 locations. In this training I'm setting up an internal form for an equipmennt rental company to quickly figure out delivery/pick up charges.
This training includes how to set up different delivery rates based on the less than 10 miles and over ten miles. Depending on the delivery vehicle if the delivery is less than 10 miles it's a flat rate for some of the vehicles.

Thanks Kareem! I don't have an affiliate link for WS Form but I'm going to apply for one. I'll add it if I get accepted.

A wonderful presentation, your brother is certain lucky to have someone like you. I need this form on my website. Just wondering how I can assign a pool of drivers to do the deliveries based on incoming orders, their locations and that of the orders and integration of payment gateways to this. Specifically I’m looking at customers making payments by mobIle money.

Those are great questions but more than I can get into in a comment. WS Form may not be the best option for something as complex as what you're describing.

Hi. Great video. I'm just wondering if WS Form would be a grid fit for what I am trying to achieve. Like you I have 3 products, but all I really need is the one field where the customer puts in their postcode and then shows them delivery price. Destination postcode will always be the same (my business address) and don't want to show the other fields showing the price or the distance, just a total price of the product and delivery.

Hey! In testing, I couldn't get it to work exactly like you described by just entering the ZIP. It does work but the result will be a city and state. In the Google Address field for your customer delivery address, change the "Results Type" to either Cities or Regions.
Make the instructions clear for the customer what they are to enter in and do. For example, "Search for your city and select it from the dropdown."
This will help them understand what to do. In order for the Google Routing to work, a result needs to be selected from the dropdown because that's in the Google database.
I can make a follow up video with overcoming some common issues with this Google Routing. Let me know.
Thanks again for the appreciation and comment.

@@touchdowntech Wow thats great, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Actually, I said just the postcode field, but there is no issue if the customer enters their full address. So would that work in a simpler way please?

To get them to enter the right info, I'd ask them to enter their city. That would seem like the simplest approach.

I don't know. I haven't used WP Forms for about 5 years. The power of WS Form is the primary reason I switched to it over all other form plugins. It has the most power and flexibility out of any form plugin for WordPress I've used. And I've used them all 🙂.

@@jorgeyanez2142 I'm not sure. I looked at it a little bit and it wasn't clear if it's possible or not. Your best way to get a solid answer is to send WPForms support this video and ask them if it's possible with WPForms.
