Glad it worked out for you 😊
Thanks a lot this is very helpful. I have a similar page to be made with value added on each radio button. Now I got confident that I can build that custom form page. Thanks once again

Thanks a lot this is very helpful… I have a problem tho, in preview mode I can see the total displaying but barely visible ( faded out) but doesn’t show up at all in published form… Do I have to put “ = TOTAL “ at end of equation in calculations?… I would appreciate your help.
It would be wise to ask it directly from the plugin support here wordpress.org/support/plugin/forminator/
Thank you very much for this video that will help many!
I would like, at the end of the form completion, to be able to have a button that allows to print the whole form with the price.
Do you think this is possible?
If you’re using Forminator then see whether this post helps you out wpmudev.com/forums/topic/print-a-completed-form-prior-to-submission/

Thanks again! :)
This is a great video. Thank you.
One question to ask, how can the [power calculation] be done in this Forminator plugin?
You’ll probably will get the best answer by asking it directly from the plugin support wordpress.org/support/plugin/forminator/
Amazing... exactly what I needed. Many Thanks!!
Great to hear! 🙂
@@wpsimplehacks Hi Yannick (S?) I am wondering if you have any other videos for this calculator? I was able to set up what I thought she wanted... and it works great, but what she is looking for is for their customers to be able to choose multiple things in one go.
The sell fish (to fish farms) and by weight. So I set the calculator so they could choose the quantity (of fish) and multiply it by the weight category... and they get that estimated calculation. But she wants them to be able to make multiple choices... so, for example... they would enter 10 (fish) multiply by weight category (for example 17-19 lbs) and it gives them the cost of £3,960... then they put in another amount of fish (say 20) X weight category (example (19-20) and then it gives them the estimated cost of £11,200... and after they've chosen all that they want to purchase, there is a grand total (all these added up)... so in my example above, they would see £3,960 + £11,200 = £15,160.
They are not purchasing from this calculator... it is in place for their visitors to see what the cost would be - there is a separate request form on the site... but this allows them to see what the estimated cost is BEFORE they complete the request form.
IS this something I can set up for them, with the Forminator calculator?
Many thanks!
@wpsimplehacks Hello Yannick (S?)
I was able to set up a simple calculator for my clients, but they need it to total a few different calculations and I don't know if this is possible with this plugin.
They want their visitors to be able to select different quantities of different products, and then for their visitor to see a grand total of these.
They sell fish to fish farms... and so fish of different weights will cost a different per/lb price.
Example: Customer chooses 10 (quantity - number of) x 11-13 (lb fish) + 5 (quantity) x 17-19 (lb fish) + 100 (quantity of) 23-25 (lb fish).
In this example the:
11-13 lb fish are £200 each (10 x £200) = £2,000
17-19 lb fish are £400 each (5 x £400) = £2,000
23-25 lb fish are £800 each (100 x £800) = £80,000
Therefore their estimated 'Grand Total' would be = £84,000
* These are not the real prices... this is an example of what I need to be able to do.
Right now it's set up so to put the quantity (number of fish) and then the choose which group (by weight) of fish they want. {for this I've set up radio buttons... O 12-15, O 15-17, O 17-19, etc.} and they are set up with the corresponding price per lb.
Is it possible to set up the Forminator so that customers can choose more than one at a time and have the calculator calculate a grand total?
Many thanks for your help!!
@@wpsimplehacks Hi there,
I replied to this before but my computer was acting up and it looks like my message never went through.
I wondering if you can tell me if what my client is looking for, can be done with the Forminator plugin.
They sell fish to fisheries. They want their potential customers to be able to multiple options and get a grand total.
Right now their page is set up with forminator... but the way I set it up they can do one calculation then do another, and so on, but they can't add all those calculations today.
I have the fish by weight (for price)... and then they can choose how many fish they want to see what that calculated price would be.
Is it possible to set the forminator up to let them choose (for example: 10 of the 8 lb fish AND 12 of the 16 lb fish AND 5 of the 20lb fish and get a grand total??) I haven't figured it out yet.
I can send you the link to the page so you can see what I set up... if you think it's possible? Otherwise, I'll have to find another calculator and I really like how easy Formulator was to set up.
Many thanks!

Thanks for video
Most welcome
Thanks for the tutorial, I wonder if it could be able to calculate advanced formula such as mortgage calculator or BMI calculator, is it possible to do it on the plug in?
Yes, absolutely. Just add your own formula over there and if you need any help with it then it would be wise to post your question in the plugin support forum.
if I can like this video more than one time, I really do it
Thanks 🙂
Hello! Thank you a lot!
Can we specify the totals separately and with the list that we have chosen?
Add additional total fields and calculate them separately
Hey! thanks for this tutorial, it's super useful. I have one question: I'd like to offer discounts for people that work in certain industries. Is there a possibility to add a radio button with calculations that are -n% so that a percentage is subtracted from the total price? Thanks!
It would be wise to ask it directly from the plugin support team here wordpress.org/support/plugin/forminator/
The way I added a discount of say 10%, 20% etc, is using a drop down menu and enter the value at .9 for 10% .8 for 20% but I also have required selection and added a none with value at 1. This gets my needed discounts as a work around temp, I am still trying to get a radio button to work without doing multiple page radio button. With radio button on calculation its gets a bit complicated and I bracket the formula and then multiple * the percentage. So far the drop down the easies route. Hope that helps some
Sir do you have any custom code after placing order, orders automatically split based in different shipping address or by wcfm vendor?
Nope, sorry 😊
Great!!
Thanks
Hello! Its really great video, this tutorial very helpfull! Thank you very much!
But I have one question to ask: Can I set the calculator to count in several currencies of money?
For example: the customer can choose Euro, Dollar, Pound, Franc, Swedish Krona, etc.
Create a separate calculation field for currencys and add values. Now add it to the formula. Although, you would have to manually change values if currency rate changes.
Hi, excellent video, my problem is the next button works on preview but does not work on block or classic, any idea how to overcome this problem. Thank you in advance
If you're using Forminator the probably the quickest way to get help isto ask directly from their support. See herewordpress.org/support/plugin/forminator/
hello, can we do sum if in the calculation ? do you know any plugin that can do sum if in form fields ? For example i want to calculate the sum only if the a radio button option is selected. Thank you
I guess you can accomplish that by using conditional rules.
Any suggestions about good CRMs to receive submissions from these forms? I am using forminator but i am unable to find any good tool to receive all the submissions including the calculated data at one platform.
Sorry, but can't help with this.
The best FREE plugin with the help of your excellent tuturial. Thank you so much! although I have one tiny issue with the pagination page steps description are all squeezed. I can't seem to fix it.
You’ll probably get the best answer directly from the plugin support here wordpress.org/support/plugin/forminator/
@@wpsimplehacks THANKS. I fixed it by using the "Material" style instead of Flat. Now, I was wondering if it's possible to style Stripe checkout payment section and if you can add discount coupon?
or would it be possible to fetch the details from the customer form with total pricing and direct it to Woocomerce checkout page?
Can I use this plugin to calculate costs based on the measurements required? for example, a user says they need a table that is 3m by 3m in the form can I then adjust the price based on that?
Yes, but you would need to build this kind of calculator by yourself with this plugin.
Hi ! really great video, this tutorial is really well explained and helpful. I was just wondering if there was a way to send a confirmation e-mail to the customer submitting the form ?
Have a nice day !
If you are using Forminator for the cost calculator then take a look at the email notifications options. I‘m sure there is an option for that. See the Forminator documentation. premium.wpmudev.org/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/
@@wpsimplehacks I found out before I could see your comments but you're absolutely right, we can setup a rule to send en email to the {email-1} (by default) so the submitter can get a mail back. Thanks
Hi--very amazing video: I need you to help please: I am using " WP Cost Estimation & Payment Forms Builder" and want to add a time slot on the booking calendar. I want to make to slots (9-1) and ( 1-5). These two slot should be shown after date selection and once selected by any client that should be unavailable for another client. Can you do this many developers were unable to do. thanks
Sorry, I haveno experience with this plugin you're using.
thank you for the tutorial,, it's great ! I just have an issue for the responsive part. The form doesn't work on the smartphone when i change the apparence. How can we do ? Because I need the form appear on a landing page so mostly on a smarphone. Thank you in advance :)
It would be wise to ask about it from the plugin support team.
Thanks for the video its great! Can you add a payment gateway so the customer can pay the amount calculated?
See whether this helps you out wpmudev.com/blog/create-free-payment-forms-with-forminator/
Thanks a lot for the video, but I have one doubt! Can we redirect the form to payment gateway with that total amount calculated?
Not that I know of but it would be wise to ask about it from the plugin support team.
Hey! Could i change the price entries based on geograpgical location?
Add country filed and add values based on the countries.
Thanks a lot sir it helped me a lot but i have just one doubt that what is the user want to input custom amount of pages in the starting and calculate accordingly.
Add a number fileld to your form
@@wpsimplehacks Thanks alot Sir that Helped me a lot. My last Question is how did you added the currency symbol at the end of the final calculation bar. Please Reply. Thanks the Video Helped me alot.
It’s in the video. You have to add suffix. See starting from here czcams.com/video/KsJK3-GzwLI/video.html
@@wpsimplehacks Oops I guess I have missed that part. Thanks for your help.
How do I calculate price based on number of days selected and accommodation type?
Or how do I multiply total times day selected?
Set up the fields for days and accommodation type, set the values and add it to the calculations.
Hello. Can I use the free version of this calculator to receive an email request immediately with calculated values, after the user enters contact information?
Set up a notification email that will be sent after the submit button is pressed.
Excellent video. I love it. But I have a question. If I use this plugin, can I calculate the curtain in the products page?
Sorry, but I didn't understand the question. What do you mean by "curtain"?
@@wpsimplehacks I want to bring together the private curtain information I received from the user and issue a price. Can I do this?
It's probably my bad English but still: what is "curtain" and what is "curtain information"?
Nevertheless, the calculator I showed is not automatically taking information from Woocommerce or any other plugins. User has to fill the fields for the calculation to work.
@@wpsimplehacks I also want the user to fill in the fields. This is the formula for the calculation I want to do with the information from the fields filled in:
{input1} * {selected_checkbox} = {total_price}
Can I do this?
This situation is so important for me :(
As a input add number fields. This means that user added value has to be a number. This number is later be used in your calculation. For the checkbox you can enter a default value for every option.
hi, can I add payment option if I created a calculation form for a service and want the client to pay the total at the end
Forminator Pro allows you to add Stripe and Paypal payment gateways. See here wpmudev.com/project/forminator-pro/
WordPress thank you, and happy holidays, do you have a video on how to set it up and does the basic plan have the payment or do I need the more expensive plan
Can we put Condition to field type Number

or otherwise 0
Thanks Really Appreciate

What do you mean by that?
@@wpsimplehacks I want to add a informative picture in steps..is that possible
You could use HTML field for that.
Is there any way to make it so the client has to submit the form before getting the price?
Create a confirmation email and notification that displays the value from the total field.
Can we proceed to cart after calculation? Instead of sending message
Not that I know of. It would be wise to ask from Forminator support team whether they have a solution for this.
