Ukraine Tour 1991 | Briercrest Clippers | Athletes In Action

In 1991 a team made up primarily of players from Briercrest Bible College travelled for one month throughout Ukraine. Moscow-L’Viv- Dnepro- Donetsk- Moscow. We played 19 games in 30 days (10 wins) and shared about Jesus and gave out hundreds of Bibles. It was a trip of a lifetime, and considering what has happened in Ukraine these places will never be the same. Watch for a political rally, where you can see the current Ukrainian flag. In 1991, Yeltsin was elected and set in motion the independence of Ukraine.
These are pictures taken from an old slide projector, so they are out of focus. They are mostly chronological, but not completely in order.
