    just found out yesterday my vb wrx only has open front diff and open rear diff, and that sti has front lsd center dccd diff and rear lsd. but you not need fancy parts to win races. there is proof in intial D there is takumi Ae86 that has LSD like STI and there is itsuki Ae85 without LSD like WRX. but guess what! driver takumi drive ae85 without lsd and beat a silvia in a race. see you do not need fancy parts to win races, new wrx can beat any car be it sti, evo, gr corolla, gtr, as long as driver good, takumi prove that.

    Nice video! Brings a little more confidence to me as I'm currently looking at a 2013 with 41k miles 1 owner. I personally love the 2011-2014 look the most

      @olivertenney21  Před 4 měsíci

      41k miles is nothing!! That year is definitely good looking too I’d 100% go for it while you can it’s rare to see a 2013 w 41k miles as well!

      @@olivertenney21 Yeah I'm definitely duper interested in it. I just missed out on a 2013 before it at 37k miles. I'm hoping to check it out soon just after I offload my current car. I think its a lesser known part of the state because I think I'm the only one looking at it and its been up for a week or so

    You'll get better mileage if you get an exhaust, intake, and tune?

    The reliability is definitely a thing with these. I can agree user error and proper maintenance is a big part. However there is still like 5 k worth of reliability mods that should be done to greatly increase reliability. Cylinder 4 cooling mod, better radiator, oil pan kit, aos, elh, thicker oil (5w40), and a proper tune.

      @olivertenney21  Před 4 měsíci

      100% agree

    • @Craiggg12345
      @Craiggg12345 Před 3 měsíci

      Not really. Just the AOS, radiator, equal headers and good oil. I have 25k on my 2015 STI with these mods. Cobb 20g turbo killer b equal headers ETS TMIC and other mods. Running IAG street AOS, Koyo radiator and stock oil pan with an. IAG oil pick up. Been running Motul 5w30 oil for 1.5 years. Not even close to the 5k you mentioned. Stock block with a pro tune. None of that Cobb stage shit.

      @Dulc3B00kbyBrant0n Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks for the pro tip. The reliability problem in these is largely overblown and sadly due to lack of good tuner availability. If u have a normal engine that won’t blow stock it will take stage 3 for 250000 km just like a regular stock engine

    • @lucian7182
      @lucian7182 Před 2 měsíci

      @@Dulc3B00kbyBrant0n their engines are definitely hit and miss some last 180k miles some last 12k. Depends if it was built on a Monday or a Friday lol. My buddies 2020 sti just spun a bearing at 36k miles, stock car aside from a catback. Motul oil every 3k miles.

  • @lucian7182
    @lucian7182 Před 4 měsíci

    What else was done to the car because looking at your engine bay it looks like you have an intake and your catback exhaust. I’m just asking because 330whp is a tall order. My 21 is making 320ish whp and 350 tq on 91 350 whp 400+ tq on e85. That’s with intake, turbo inlet, bpv, gs tmic, gs ebcs, 1050 injectors, iag rails and lines, flex fuel kit, aem fuel pump, Cobb fpr, iwire hardwire kit, koyorad radiator, cylinder 4 mod, Cobb aos, iag oil pan kit, cobb Dp awe touring catback, killer b holy header,

      @olivertenney21  Před 4 měsíci

      Cars got all the stuff u mentioned along with just being ran and tuned on the dyno maximizing the injectors and helping everythung work efficiently together. I was off I beleve it’s around 315 wheel, I musta been thinking of crank wien i made the vid haha that’s my bad I’m glad you called me out on that
