I'll be going there soon. I'm staying in Kitty Hawk but will drive to Nags Head to see it. Wondering if it has an aquarium? First time here. The OBX are just wonderful!
I remember when it was just a short, damaged pier and it was like that for many years. Part of that time it was open, with a pier house and fishing available at a reduced rate from other piers. I'm so glad they rebuilt it, love what they've done with it and wish some kind of restoration could be done on the Frisco Pier, and bring back the Kitty Hawk Pier for full public use. Losing a pier on each end has hurt the Outer Banks pier scene, but other than that it's good. Don't even get me started on the pier losses on other beaches.

I was just in the area. Wish I had stopped by there. I probably did go there in the early ‘50’s as a child.
One of my favorite places to visit in NC and the Outer Banks.

It does have a small aquarium as you enter the pier house.
Might be the coolest man made thing in OBX.
