hello, I have a question, I recently finished a quad build, and I am running 30 amp simonk speed controllers, with pixhawk controller and 950 kv motors
I have some batteries left over from my 3dr Iris+ which used the 5100 mah battery with what looks like an 8c rating,,, with 3 cells, so 11.1 volts
It flies but when I hit the throttle it really takes a while to raise, and just seems under powered, I think I know the answer but
can I assume this is from the battery c rating? what do you suggest battery wise

It maybe battery c rating but there is one more possibility less thrust provided by motors.
If 70 c 2200 mah battery and motor 1000kv and 30A esc.... Does 70c is good or 30c for drone

I recently built a f450 drone with orange lipo 2200 mah 11.1v.
Today I was flying my drone and somehow my drone crashed. I checked all parts found no defects but when I touched my battery it was puffed.When I set it for charging on b3 max the 1st and 3rd cell are getting charged but the middle one is not getting charged, when I was using voltage checker alarm then I found out that the middle cell had 0.66 volts.
Should I purchase again 3000 mah battery.....
Can my drone lift 3000 mah battery.
My drone has a2212 golden motors 1000 kv rating.

I think there is some issue in wiring or connector. Or maybe u have drained your battery too much

Bro can i use orange lipo 1s for drones? I have toygrade/micro drones with mini coreless motors.the stock battery is also 1s.
I dont think you can use 1s lipo if they are small because coreless motor cannot lift a lot of weight..

I used some local brushless so I don;t know exactly about motors kv .. power consuption but I its around 1.4 kg drone with go pro, naza m upgraded to v2 ( soft update ) gps, 30 amp esc, 10x4.5 props, 2 axis normal gimbal with bcg controller and I want 15-20 min flight time in this setup. Please tell me accordingly.

i have a 3 cell 3300 mah 35c 11.1 v lipo battery.. my second is totally discharged and shows 0v so can i charge that single cell with a B3 imax rc charger? or how should i recover the dead battery cell , i only have the B3 imax rc charger with me.

Well you can use it...but it is not recommended you can go for lithium ion battery for the same purpose

It depends on company to company....so it might be heavy or may be the stock battery is showing fake mah

Yes but you have to care of discharge rating and amount of max power transfer to each motor
And that power producing enough thrust to make it fly

Bro UAV should fly for 3hrs continuously and we have a 360kv motor for a propeller of 13 inch diameter. The chosen battery is 16000mAh 22.2v 25C. how many hours can this battery withstand.
If u can fly 3hrs with just battery it will be world record.. so technically u can't do it just with batteries.
