Given that was early on in the first episode that's the line that made the show go from "well, let's check out this show see if it's any good" to "yeah, I'm definitely going to binge watch this."

I saw an interview with the actress, and she said playing Claire is wonderful but absolutely exhausting. The character is so tense and anxious, often panicking, speaking very quickly, yelling, and pretty much freaking out 95% of the time. Shooting for hours and hours at that level must be SO tiring!
Oml that's so funny, makes sense tho. She's always doing like 40% more than everyone around her 😂 and she gets on VERY energetic rants. Such passion in her lines I love her character sm
It’s also the fact that she has to get nervous about everything being said by the other actors.
I liked how they were still able to fit Nicola into the show, despite the conflicting schedule with "Bridgerton."
I think that’s the reason she was left behind at the train station in Episode 3 and moved to Strabane in the finale special.

She’s a very good actress. She’s by far the best character in Bridgeton and that’s a very different role. Hope she get’s the recognition she deserves after season 3

I mean you've got to hand it to Nicola Coughlan and how into the role she gets. She must need to book a very long spa break somewhere after shooting Clare Devlin for weeks on end, especially in the last series where she got even more anxious and shrieky. She really is a walking cack attack in Erin's parlance 😊
If you’re wondering why Claire was hardly in Series 3 she was filming Brigerton at the same time, her scenes were done in her days off from that

Love how Clair's flying the flag of presentation of what it would be like to voice all our own internalised anxieties and for all of fears to forever becoming actualised a surreal and comedic way,
