Reading about the Black and Tans and what they did to our Irish towns in 1920 -this is exactly what is happening in the West Bank Today. 700 Black and Tans went to Palestine after Ireland.
This is presicely why the Irish empathise so much with the Palestinians because they have a shared history of suffering oppression from a hostile neighbour.

Christians have been bombed in Gaza.
Christian persecution by Islam is far more Concerning. Present day Nigeria, Uganda 2023, Armenia, Many Coptic Christians beheaded in Egypt 2015. British Children in Manchester Bombings, 9/11 and on and on the killings continue. Sadly routed in Islamic teachings.
