- Chris Myers from the Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group (SMUG) discusses the Clarius and the Phillips Lumify handheld ultrasound machines. Which is best?
Thanks for the review. Nice job explaining both products
There are some updates, Lumify has now Pulsed Wave Doppler and can be used in iOS through an adapter. Also Lumify uses a USB-C connector which, for obvious reasons, offer no latency delay compared to any other wireless solution
Thanks for your comment
Thank you for this wonderful video! Reading your newer comments, any specific reason why you think Vscan Air is better now? Vscan image quality seems worse compared to Clarius. I was thinking of getting the Clarius soon for simple MSK diagnostics/injections.
I prefer the v scan air - I prefer the shape of the probe - Clarius probe much bigger in comparison
Thank you very much
You are welcome
Thank you for all the work! I see you tried the butterfly. Do you think the new butterfly IQ + can beat clarius in terms of image quality?
Would be interested in the answer as well!
Nope - Butterfly not good enough for MSK - Clarius and GE V Scan Air better
I agree, cant compare quality. Clarius much better@@SMUGultrasoundtraining
I'm looking for an ultrasound system that we will use for joint injections of the shoulders, hips, knees, and elbows. Although handhelds are nice I think the image quality is still inferior to laptop and cart devices. Which ultrasound system less than 25k would you recommend?
GE Logiq E, Samsung Hm70 or alpinion i9
Thank you for the video. Do you still recommend Clarius? Do have a specific probe for hip and spine MSK? Thank you very much
No I now prefer the v scan air by GE 👍

Thank you. Do you offer classes for students in joint injections?
