The trailer for the show really didn't do this show justice. I kept going back to the trailer and finally forced myself to watch it because I was bored, and I have to say this is probably in the top 3 best shows for Netflix. Also I think eventually Ward's wife will become the main bad guy for the next season after ward gets arrested.

Most shows just stretch the storyline and just end up leaving the whole plot of the show open(e.g. Riverdale).
With that said, I love how the show was not predictable (for me at least) and how the first season just felt like a finished masterpiece itself. And the whole cast did such an amazing job. Keep up the great work y’all

As a long term OTH fan who has rewatched the entire series 5+ times - I must say OUTER BANKS is one of the best shows to come out in a long time since shows like OTH aired. There was something so wholesome & genuine about characters & relationships in the early 2000s TV that shows like OTH, The OC, Dawson’s Creek, & Friday Night Lights did so well. Those shows had characters that felt like real people that the viewers cared about because we felt like we knew them. And after binging Outer Banks I must say this show has that same formula, I genuinely cared about these characters & I think fans of OTH should give this a chance.
Currently rewatching for literally the 50th time the entire series of OTH which is probably my favourite series of all time. Debating if I should give this show a chance. You think it's worth it?
Brittney Lauren - I’m rewatching OTH on Hulu for maybe the 10th time also 🤣 and I just turned this on to have noise in the background and genuinely ended up super impressed and putting down my phone. I ended up watching it until 2am. If you’re a OTH fan I do think this is worth giving a shot - it didn’t disappoint
One tree hill, Dawson Creek and Outer banks all take place in NC ✨ love that. We produce some great teen drama shows lol

I have rewatched the Oc and one tree hill so many times and my friend who loves both shows as much as me told me to watch outer banks and I fell in love with the characters and the story plot.

Idk one tree hill the characters on that show have been through hell. Like Lucas in a car crash and survived. One tree school was held a gun point. They survived Dan killed Keith. Lucas and Nathen both can hold their own in a fight. So I think Outterbanks and one tree hill are a tie in My book.
Anyway Outterbanks was so freakin awesome. My cousin talked me into watching. I wasn’t sure about it and held holding it off. But man I’m so glad I watched it. John B is my favorite. What love about the character he was stupid. Like some shows I have seen where main characters trust someone thing they are going to help them and they get burned in the end. John B kept his guard up and didn’t tell other people besides his friend know he knew about the gold. No matter what they did for him he never told a soul. If that makes sense .
One tree hill will forever be one of my favorite shows. i do love outer banks too, but i still honestly think the OTH cast would win
