I love drawing flowers. I usually use them in my scratch art, which ends up looking like a negative of an inky drawing. But, it is the leaves and filler details that seem to be my Achilles heel. So, this is one of my favorite lessons.

My grandma always taught me odd numbers for flowers. Odd until getting to like over 16 flowers or something like that and then it doesn't matter much as they'res so many. She's a florist too 😊 and I pass on that knowledge to others as well.

Thanks for the livestream / drawing classes. It’s a great review, for me. It brings back memories of when I used to draw with mechanical ink pens../ By the way, bees are female. All bees are female. All bees are sisters to the queen. Only a few bees are males. These are drones, set aside for mating. They die after doing their job. So all the workers, & scouts are females, as well of course as the Queen bee. 🐝🐝🐝

Which clicky pencil is your favorite to use?
Please help me! I'm having an issue with the ink making blobs where I join two lines. I don't have access to a drawing program to tidy it up. How can I stop this blobbing from happening?
You're using horrible paper. That is called feathering. Fountain pen users dead this. It's easily preventable. Either change your pen, paper or ink. Noodlers makes an ink called x-feather which is supposed to prevent feathering. Any felt to pen will feather in cheap paper. If you are going to use cheap paper use expensive ink. If you're going to use cheap pens use great paper. Just a few things I've picked up over the years. Most important at supply you'll ever use is paper.
If you are going to be using fine liners instead of rapidograph pens then you must get a paper that will not bleed and feather.
