Inky Art School : Day 9 : How to Draw a Floral Bug

- Oh my days! I was stuck in traffic just before we made this video, but I MADE IT! Today we drew leafy bugs, I showed off my inky skirt and we talked about NOT waiting to have the 'perfect' drawing space (just get started!)
For Today’s Class you will need:
* Drawing pencil
* Regular pencil (for tracing)
* Eraser
* Paper
* Tracing paper
* Fineliner pens

I'm using the living room table to draw and a cheap basket to keep everything together.
You should think about coloring your skirt with Derwent Intense pencils water colours, that would be fantastic!!! They are permanent..

These tutorials are brilliant. Ive done zentangle as they can be done on the 3inch x 3inch squares of paper but I have loved your whimsical drawings since my son bought me your first colouring book. Love your skirt by the way and your cheeriness is so infectious.

Hi Johanna. My Granny was also an artest and is my inspiration for everything arty that I do. I have one of her landscape paintings and also a pile of her charcoal portrait drawings. So wish she was here to share my experience.
Like your skirt so much, designable with your patterns
Had a great time with this one although I didn't do the tracing paper part as I'm more challenged to try and balance it out myself. I am also not using ink yet so I've had to adjust to using a piece of paper to cover my hand so that I don't smudge so much. I'm learning and enjoying and that is half the fun. Can't wait for tomorrow and tutorial #10. Thanks again.

If you don't have tracing paper, you can also use parchment paper.
