Whenever I see anyone struggling with something, I usually just say, “Good morning,” or some other greeting, and let them ask for assistance if they want it
Did you really have to add the God bless? Do you demented Christians have to mention your God or your Jesus creature and every God damn post you ever make? There is nothing wrong with this girl whatsoever, but you could hardly say that your God blessed her! Imbecile
@@emmemaile5531 haha....figured you'd be a libtard snowflake, IM not Christian..how much u know. None of your business what I say to anyone.. so have a great day...TRUMP 2024...GOD BLESS YOU!
I agree, as a veteran with one leg, we adapt to every day life in order to get through it. I'm not happy about it, but I am alive. That's what is important to me.
My gfs disabled, and it makes me look like a jerk sometimes because other people see me not helping her do things. Thing is she doesn't want my help and does fine without me and prefers doing things for herself. She really doesn't know it but I think she is one of the strongest people I know.Props to you for being strong and not letting your disability get in you way.👍
I get looks at the store because I don't do everything for my wife either. She needs independence and self worth. She doesn't want to be totally dependent on me. So I understand you.
I know what mean. It’s not really that they don’t want us to help. I think we’d just slow them down. Once people have their routine, anyone butting in on that gets them out of their groove.
Thing is to let people know that this is something she asked of you to let her do it herself. Say I love that do nothing more than help her out with everything but she likes her independence and she wants to so therefore if she needs something she'll ask me.
You have just encouraged me to put forth an extra effort to take my mother's scooter with us more often. She has arthritis in her ankles and very hard to walk! Many blessings to you young lady!!
Lots of people say that carnivore diet can help with healing arthritis. Maybe ur mother can try it. It's a diet where you eat all kind of meats (not deep fried). Look into it. Dr. Ken berry has some good info as well as lots of others.
taking your Mom places with her scooter is a God send fir her. I wish i still had my Mom with me...she PASSED A FEW MONTHS AGO...AND I TOOK HER AND OUR LITTLE PUPPY IN THE CAR AS MANY TIMES AS I COULD, ALTHOUGH NOT ENOUGH. WHY YOU ASK? BECAUSE GETTING HER, THE SCOOTER, THE PUPPY, OH YES ME DOWN THE STAIRS INTO THE CAR WAS VERY DIFFICULT ......BUT I WISH SHE WAS STILL HERE AND I WOULD MAKE SURE I GAVE HER MORE "TRIPS" IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. I MISS HER ALOT❤❤❤❤
Yes, do take your mom out often! As a 66 year old that’s been stuck in the house for a few years, I’m looking forward to getting a scooter, and I hope some of my 6 kids will get me out of the house! Make some memories with her!
I'm handicapped Now thanks to last August I was in a motorcycle accident and sheared off my leg at the knee joint it's back on it just doesn't work right and it hurts so bad to walk I am now crippled but I have adopted in so many ways I don't need help doing the things I do I just looked a little funny walking now but I'm still the same person I always been
Until recently I was my mother's caregiver and this was something, people didn't understand, sometimes my job was to stand back and let her do what she could do, even if it looked like she was struggling, she wasn't and the sense of independence it gave her was better for her then any temporary physical relief my 'assistance' might have given her.
God bless you for taking care of your Mother. People need to mind their own business. I agree with you on you're giving your Mother the feeling of independence.
My older sister had Cerebral palsy and sadly passed away in 2021. She couldn’t walk or talk for her 41 years of life. Seeing you driving, talking and walking makes me so happy. I didn’t get to witness my sister doing those activities on Earth, but I know she’s in Heaven making up for the lost time❤️ Your smile is so infectious.
I hope your heart can mend surely God will give her a wonderful job in heaven she'll have a new set of legs but she won't need a heart because she has your heart
The smile on your face as you know you're about to do something which gives you more freedom to move about with less stress, that's answer enough for anyone with half of a working brain cell. You go girl.
I’m disabled myself with a horrible back injury from the service. If I see someone who’s disabled I will try and make an effort to ask if they need a hand. It’s not always about pity or feeling sorry for that person, sometimes people just want to help because it’s in our nature.
Glad someone else said the same thing I was thinking. If I was walking by, I'd have offered to help. Regardless of gender, age, weather conditions.... It's just an offer, not a put down or pity. I respect and admire her for being independent while still being graceful. Two good qualities we should all have with each other.
Your explanation helps us to understand. Most people want to help and just don’t know what you need. They are shocked when you say you don’t need any help.
Great attitude. You accomplished a difficult task with grace and we’re able to do what you wanted and needed. You have a kind, loving and can do attitude. Thank you for being a good example for others. May God continue to bless and keep you.
Girl, you are my hero. You don't let your disability hinder you in any way.. You deserve the Medal of Honor for your service to disabled individuals!!!
You go girl, I am a disabled veteran and widower of 2 years. Both me and my wife had scooters, mine was issued to me by the V.A. with a lift. My wife inherited hers from her mother, so we often had two in my Escape. After my wife passed, I gave her scooter to my elderly mother. You are beautiful and smart. You’re such a sweetie and cutie. I have a new perspective on people with disabilities since I found your channel. I hope you never lose that smile, I can only imagine how you make people around you feel. 🥰
I hear what you are saying. Maybe another perspective is that kindness does exist. I have physical issues as well and I’m always grateful if someone acknowledges a struggle and offers to help. That’s better than no one acknowledging you.
When I first became disabled I used to be able to break my scooter down as you did. As my condition has worsened I've has to get an electric hoist. I find it’s quite good for drawing interested crowds. I’m getting a lot of your shorts since I first subscribed & commented, they never fail to make me smile.
