I play Farming Simulator all the time with my son and all he wants to be is a farmer when he gets older, cheers for the videos mate.
Hey Richard. Some advice for your first time playing: go to mods on the main menu, click on 'maps' and then choose a British map (e.g. West Coast, Sandy Bay 17, Thornton Farm,e.t.c.); you can use cruise control; you can hire workers(they do the job for you but cost money); try to sell the starting vehicles as they cost more to keep maintenance for. Also, before episode 3 try and do all of the tutorials. If you have read this, please take my advice and keep up the good content. Definitely need more subscribers mate.

Go to the home where the optuns and go In to mods and then you can get more maps and tractors
in farm sim 17 the different country versions is mainly to change the language. Other than that they are all the same with the same maps and equipment.

The people who make the game make a map for a certain area in the world each version. You can find a map for basically any country and download it in the little "mods" section in the title menu.
You can install a mod to get a lot of money and there is a mod to get the old Massey Ferguson tractors like the 135
U will see how diverse things will be in this game, keep up the good content!

Here's some tips- find all gold nuggets worth 1 million pounds to buy equipment you need, -
Buy some land, do jobs for farmers to get buying land power, fertiliser crops×3 for max yield, grow soya beans as good return, grass to bgp profitable
All base maps in farming simulator are armerican, getman etc. But to get british maps and more tractors you need to download mods. On playstation a membership is needed and then there should be a modhub in the main screen. In mods it will allow you to download mods
You have to download mods to get an England map when you first load up the game you will see something called mods then go map then find an England map click on it then click download then click back and click on career and click on the arrows and find your map and just start it
Wait until the 20th on Nov Farming Simulator 19 is coming out. And they have signed John Deere as one of the brands

I find the American style maps to be easier for learning due to the rectangular fields and wider roads. I assume you will find the map mods in the top menu. Each map lends itself to different equipment and playing style. For small equipment I really enjoy Ballymoon Castle Ireland.

There are some great modifcation out there :-). If you search for the map The Westcoast on console i'm sure you will love that.
If you want a English map you need to get the computer version and then you need to go on the internet and download some maps

To get maps you go on mods then maps and choose chellington that's a English map and wait for it to download then restart your game then make a new savegame and choose chellington
In settings you can make it so you have to turn the engine on and off yourself. You should also do the tutorials.
