We fence off a triangle from the corners since we have been rearing heifers so that they can’t push the corners out, they all seem to do it, probably trying to get shelter.
Years ago we had a Highland (bullock) got into our field from a local hotel which had them on show for there guest. Our field had 30 plus heifers in it we asked the hotel owner to remove it and as he didn't think it was much to be concerned about as it was a bullock. As it turned out it was not a bullock and did his business on several of our heifers which produced some Friesian Highland cross calf's. This caused a fair bit of a legal battle.

I thought at first it was a Bull I always look for the Blown up Rubber Glove underneath, having once on a country rabble cut through a field that had a rather excited Bull in and I had to run for it, I went over the gate without opening it, if someone had said vault over that gate I would have said impossible but when you have a bull behind you it is surprising what you can do🥴️
Good deed for the day, positives and negatives, a) someone put it in the field to get it off the road, b) if the gate can be opened by anyone then it's a victim for flytippers/poachers. Lovely looking cow.
