- On March 26th 2023, we started our adventure to Kuredu Island Resort & Spa. Personally, I think this is the most beautiful island at the Maldives.
My first visit to this wonderful island was in April 2017. I loved it so much back then, that I had to come back. This time, my mom joined me on this adventure. It was her first time to the Maldives, so there will be a lot to explore in this week.
In this video, you can enjoy the view of stunning beaches, delicious food, Kuredu's wildlife and so much more. It truly is paradise on earth!
Once again, I would like to thank the amazing staff at Kuredu for making our holiday this special. I hope that we meet again one day!

Thank you for your video, it brought back wonderful memories. My husband and I went to Kuredu for our Honeymoon 18 years ago and it was truly breathtaking then. It looks like they have added a few more restaurants now. I desperately want to go back and take our teenage sons with us. I want them to experience how beautiful the Maldive islands are. How long is the flight (seaplane) from Male Airport to the Kuredu Island?
The seaplane takes approximately 40-45 minutes until you’re at Kuredu. Kuredu is the second stop. Our first stop was for guests at Sun Island. 40-45 minutes might sound long in a seaplane, but time flies when you can enjoy all the other beautiful islands from above 😊
How are the prices at the restaurants at this place ? Im planning to travel here for the first time with my wife.

Would you say the food in the buffet restaurant is good for fussy eaters? X
As a fussy eater myself, I can really recommend the food at the buffet restaurants. You will always find something you like, or you can try new foods without having to order an entire dish. There’s a different theme every night, so sometimes you have the Indian cuisine for example, but it can also all kinds of European cuisines. What I enjoyed every day was the live-cooking area at the buffet restaurant. I never left the restaurant being hungry, even tho I’m a fussy eater. And I haven’t even mentioned the delicious desserts. HEAVEN 😍 X
Why didn't you take the interiors of the bungalows?
Do you have a normal beach villa ? Or o beach villa? Premium beach villa?
We did have a normal beach villa, number 314. I think it used to be part of the O Resort in the past, but now it’s a normal beach villa. I can really recommend this one, since the view is wonderful! 😊
Hello, how's that for a toddler? I have heard that restaurants and whole sections of the beach are closed to children. My son is 18 months old.
That would obviously be bad if I couldn't go anywhere with my son just because he is a baby.
i would like to fly in 2 month, but i dont know..... the selection.... but i dont find a better island on the Maledives, there are also bad holiday feedbacks
Hi there! Sorry for my late reply. In my experience, there were a lot of people with very young children. There were even a few younger than 12 months. In the restaurant, you will find a small “kids corner” where they serve food for children. I’m not sure about the beach, I can’t imagine that they forbid you to take your toddler to the beach, as long as you don’t leave him unattended. At the main pool, there’s also a small swim area for little children. In case you want to do something where you can’t take your son with you, you can bring him to the Kids Club for a while.
And please, don’t get “scared” by negative comments you might read online. Experience everything yourself and make wonderful memories with your little boy. Kuredu is truly heaven and I can recommend it to anyone :) Enjoy your stay x
