      That's the problem with Falcon. Now the refugees I get because they're technically not part of the Flag Smashers, even though they support them. And I get why he's reluctant to kill Karli because she's just a kid (19 but still). But denying that the Flag Smashers are terrorists is just plain ridiculous especially since he has seen first hand how they're willing to use violence, corruption, and use hostages to get what they want but Falcon repeatedly insists they aren't terrorists which is way too damn annoying.

    Falcon’s acting like the flag smashers were misunderstood ._. No no they were not they were straight up terrorists, kidnapping/bombing people, killing Lemar (god rest his soul) and literally attempted murder on Falcon and Bucky a few times. And they are not terrorists why? I don’t know it’s not even an assumption it’s factual.

    Obviously I understand that Walker killing that guy was not good, but how are we expected to antagonize John when we've spent years watching Sam and Steven kill people too? people who didn't just murder their best friend in front of them???
    it's such a shame cause walker could've had such a wonderful arc of trying to be the best Captain America he can be, learning that while his rage in that moment was justified, that isn't the Captain America the world needed. oh I would've died for that

    • @milkiassamuel780
      @milkiassamuel780 Před rokem +14

      Yeah, it really didn't feel like his redemption arc was earned, and concluded too quickly when they really could've expanded on his character development. Also as much I respect Sam and love his character and progression to becoming Captian America, I have to disagree when it comes to him saying they weren't terrorists as Karli literally blew up a supply shelter full of tied-up soldiers as well as held an entire United Nation meeting hostage, while visibly attempting to kill other elected officials. I greatly respect the moral/ethical perspective of this situation from Sam's point of view, but at the end of the day they were in fact terrorists, and committed murders, regardless of a, in retrospect, pretty unclear/unfocused motivation. I still enjoyed the show regardless and just my critiques. l really

      @@themindeclectic9821 When John decides to save the truck full of hostages instead of going after Karli for revenge, and by doing that he is suddenly redeemed and active, sure not officially as Captain America, but as US Agent for the Thunderbolts.
      It just feels very quickly resolved and makes his character less interesting, and less of a counterpart to Steve.
      I just feel like it could've been more interesting if he did in fact go after Karli instead of attempting to save the truck of hostages, cemented how much of a juxtaposition he is for Steve and Sam.
      There is a great video by @NandovMovies that covers this discussion in further detail:

    Hijacking
    Hostage taking
    Breaking and Entering
    Bombings
    Trespassing
