    @dagrouse3983 Před 3 lety +1

    Just some of that good old bobcat quality with the cylinder breaking like that. But I can’t fully hate on them they do make a nice machine just has some issues sometimes like every other brand.

  • @MrFragManiac
    @MrFragManiac Před rokem

    Alex, did Dirt Wurx build all the 2020 Salt Lake Supercross tracks? I ask because I've not yet been able to find info on it. I just bought and have been playing Monster Energy Supercross 4, and at first, I was worried it would feel repetitive because of all the Salt Lake tracks due to COVID. Somehow they all feel very different though. Really great job on them if you guys built them. I can't think of any other crew that could pull that off!

    Hmmmm I could give this a try at work with our loading shovels 🤔🤔

  • @actionsportster7686
    @actionsportster7686 Před 3 lety +1

    So when the hydraulic cylinder on the loader arm broke, did you lose ALL of the hydraulic fluid to the drive motors too? Is that why it couldn't be driven off the track under its own power? Seems like a poor design If so, as that makes the CTL dead in the water whenever any hydraulic component (hose, fitting, ram, etc.) breaks.

    • @DirtWurxAlex
      @DirtWurxAlex  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah I instantly shut it off. I probably lost 15 gallons of fluid in 3 seconds. I wonder if there was a crack in the casting from the previous guy who rented that machine. I wasn’t doing anything wrong when it broke.

    • @ke6gwf
      @ke6gwf Před 3 lety

      @@DirtWurxAlex did you have it in Float mode?
      It might have been an open valve between the hydraulic return manifold and the cylinder, and so all the return fluid finding its way out there?
      Seems odd that fluid would keep flowing out the bucket cylinder with no controls activated, but then it's a Bobcat, so... Lol

  • @ridgway712
    @ridgway712 Před 3 lety

    Do u guys enjoy the multiple race at one place or not. I know u can stay longer and not as crazy of travel schedules but what about having to tear stuff down just to move it to another location. Dirt is already there but seems like would be harder to get stuff done with the quick turnaround.

    • @DirtWurxAlex
      @DirtWurxAlex  Před 3 lety +1

      It had its pros and cons. When we have a roof it’s nice. Mentally the old schedule is nice because we get to change up the scenery more.

    Does Dirt Wurx have a contract with equipment companies in each city so that you don't worry about getting the heavy equipment you need?
