Aww Molly it’s so exciting to see you at uni and starting a new adventure after watching you for a few years at school and sixth form! I can imagine how scary and a bit daunting but you will have so much fun. I have just started my art foundation but I’ve stayed local because I’ll be moving out next year for an undergraduate! I go to Leeds Beckett university (going into second year) and I remember my first few weeks were awful, I was really homesick and regretted going. However now I've spent all summer getting excited to go back for second year because Leeds is so great and it now feels like a second home ❤️❤️

I really recommend going to Rustica for lunch or dinner, its opposite the Parkinson steps in the uni! Or coffee rand is an amazing cafe!! I went there all the time last year and was blessed, lots of art students go xxxx
Ive been to uni for a week now.. I'm feeling mixed about it, mostly because I didn't know anyone when I started, and everything is so big and new (I do still live at home, so that's helping a bit), but the course I'm studying I really like

A tip I'd give to help with the weird smell in your room is to maybe get an automated air freshener! I think you can get them from Wilkinsons for a fairly good price and you can set them to spray every half hour/every hour depending on what you prefer. It was such a life saver for me in first year, and meant whenever I came back to my flat after lectures or something, my room would smell gorgeous. Good luck with your first year of uni!

I just moved into my second year room and I’ve had the same problem - someone was sneakily smoking in my room too😭 I left the window open for a week, and I got one of those plug in air fresheners and it’s really helped xx

What’s in my uni bag pleaseee 🙌🙌 also the toilet does that in my house and you have to take the lid off the toilet bowl and physically turn the mechanism on the back of the flush xx
