In this video I do an experiment to see if you can remove the coloring from food.i talk about color and what causes color to occur. Then I show you how you can remove color by taking the color out of a strawberry using bleach. I show you what happens when you put food coloring in bleach and also I talk about why it is important to eat things that are colored to save you from bad oxidation.

This is by far one of my favorites videos on CZcams! Explanations were very clear and I did not only reinforced my knowledge on theory of color but did learn about basic organic chemistry. Also, now I know the real reason why it is good to eat foods full of color. I definitely will incorporate more veggies and fruits to my current diet. Thank you so much! :)

No, only the water would evaporate. The same thing would happen if you boiled soda or any other drink. You can make colored smoke though !

If he mathematically showed the relationship between molecule length and wavelength of light absorbed, then it would be math. All he did was describe the physical property that longer molecules result in lower wavelengths of light being absorbed. There is no way to use that information alone to derive any kind of mathematical statement about that relationship.
That is like saying that the more you accelerate, the more energy is required to continue accelerating. That is a physical property. It doesn't become mathematical until you determine that the relationship between energy consumed and rate of acceleration is an inverse square. Mathematics and science are very closely related and interdependent, but they are not the same thing!
