- Here's a special treat for all of you wonderful subscribers: A raw bootleg recording of Queen's famous "Milton Keynes" concert (AKA "Live At The Bowl")! Sadly, this recording misses around a half dozen songs, but the quality is pretty good! You may notice how different the sound mix is (compared to the official release)! Freddie's voice is in excellent shape, and unlike Wembley 1986, this bootleg proves that Freddie sang all of his high notes live!
ENJOY!!!
Note: Freddie must have been thinking about them Fat Bottomed Girls (or guys-lol, Sorry had to say it) a bit too much--because he does one of his WORST vocal cracks ever (LO-cal-ity)! - Hudba
I fuckin love this mix, wish they kept it
this is one great emotional performance of Stl! Great rendition!
This is my favorite live version of the song ever! He really puts all of his emotion into it! Hammersmith 1979 and Montreal 1981 are great too but this tops them all!
Stucks I disagree, hammersmith is better than this one
1st and 2nd Newcastle show from 1979 are the best versions in my opinion.
I just love the energy in this concert, you can feel it!
The way that this was mixed, it sounds like it should be broadcasted in a church.
wielkie dzieki za ten bootleg jedne lepsze od drugiego
I think Freddie could've totally hit the C5 in this, but he elected to use an atypical phrasing in the outro instead. Still great!
Well if you see the video of the performance you will notice that on that moment Freddie was focused on fixing his sit! In fact he starts singing on the next line :)
I think he avoided it because of the little troubles he had in the acapella part
@@mbvbv5649 agreed, he found himself a bit uncomfortable so he actually had to warm up his voice again with some low notes in the outro. I had this same feeling in Sao Paulo 1982 and still he hit it there, though
@@SafiRo00 São Paulo 1982?
@@KJunior007 he meant 81
I've always prefered this mix rather than the official cause of the really loud organ
Late reply: Synthesiser not “Organ”
6:40 yeeeeaaaaah
Love 6:40!
@Gregsynthbootlegs Powerfull falsetto. xd an which note?
Who is that at 6:29-33 behind Freddie, was that Roger and if so why did they cut that out of the official release?
***** There is a possibility is was Brian, occasionally you can hear Brian singing along but I already expected it to be Roger.
***** It wasn't an opinion it was more of an inquiry. It seems they removed quite a bit from this show, instruments and vocals.
Who sings at 6:29? Brian?!
Ianandres1 It's Brian
I can't hear John. Did he not sing backing vocals during this concert (or at least during this song)?
MC_Sandman John almost never sang live, he couldn't sing a lick and knew it, so he opted to not.
@Gregsynthbootlegs Did you hace just post the second Leiden ?
do you have the bootleg of the second night of the montreal gig?
I wonder why they turned Brian down at the end?
i thought you were putting up the audience recording?
@Gregsynthbootlegs And who was he talking to? lol
So in what HS gigs he hit the C5 ? Munich, Leeds, Edinburgh and ?
leiden
@@andresvelasquez8482 that one always surprises me. He makes a horrible Bb4 crack on the second verse (i think? Couldnt remember) and he STILL goes for the C5, and it sounds quite good too, better than Leeds, where he was in better shape.
@Gregsynthbootlegs No worries. I was just wondering
6:41 C5?
This is G#5.
6:19 did he get the C5 ?
FreddieMercury1994 Brian on an Eb5
@Gregsynthbootlegs more or less the same range of Freddie!!
@PushingAPullDoor There are a LOT of better bversion than this
