I nearly freaked out when I realized who you folks were, and it legit made me, a grown man almost tear up to hear that in these crazy times of so much division and hate--that you folks continued to grow and get better. I'll explain: You see, I remember hearing Royals (the original song) for the first time when I was still an IT Director and thought, man a Rock version of this would be sick! Which is when I found your original video of that cover that I ended up burning to disk for my drives to work because it was so damn good, but now almost 10 years later, I'm a Twitch Partner after quitting the corporate world and I stumbled onto this song which I felt embodied so many feelings, amazed at how well done it is, only for me to make the connection after hearing it so much. Well...I guess I'm not so surprised it's good, because you folks are incredible and I honestly wish you nothing but endless, continued success! Thanks for always lifting my mood with the incredible jams! I'm more than happy to promote your content to my community and in the circles I'm in, it's the least I can do.

Genuinely heard the original song and knew someone would make a rock progression of it, which would sound more naturally heavy for the bridge and chorus.
I've gone through pretty much all the covers on YT, and this is the one closest to how I imagined. Love what you've done with it.
The only thing I can really imagine being better to my ears, is letting some more of the lows come through on the vocals - as it sound like it's been cut off a lot from what I imagine the singer sounds like in real life. Hope it's taken constructively if anything as I generally am pretty critical of everything.
