As you said, its important to let the prospects develop their offensive confidence at all levels, so he'll arrive very confident in the NHL. Brad Lambert is an other good example this year, and Slafkovsky will be burned for the same reason.

He does not rush plays, knows exactly what to do when he's in front of the net, very smooth.
He was always very skilled but his skating has really improved!!! He's looks much faster and more efficient. Salfv should be in Laval and it appears the Management Team is repeating the mistake they made last year!
he's going to make the show! great puck skill-IQ-timing-vision, compatible with Cole and Suzi re-tactics, but his skating mechanics and pace are not elite yet; stride, hip angles, vertical posture need work.

His development has been fascinating, and he could end up being that missing piece for our top 6. They need to send Slaf down to play with Roy asap.
