Well, choosing to take a shield is a very interesting choice in regards to dealing with ratling guns. With ratlings being controlled by players, grabbing their attention safely while someone else shoots at them is a moot point as the ratlings can just instantly switch targets. It's probably a good choice to take them just to have an answer for getting pinned down by a ratling though. I imagine that warrior priest is going to get a lot of use thanks to their ability to just tell disablers to screw off, though seeing as they aren't even in the closed test, who knows. Otherwise, grail knight is essentially garbage in this mode, and with how effective player controlled gas rats are, unchained is probably complete garbage as well. If I were to theorize meta picks, it would likely consist of ranger veteran for the constant ammo regen, waystalker for homing ult, warrior priest for screwing over disablers and healing, pyromancer for homing ult, and potentially huntsman if you're absolutely cracked at ranged.
mercenary, witch hunter, unchained and iron breaker can shout to stop disablers, hand maiden, foot knight and battle wizard can dash to escape any of the specials, or stop them if you are not hm, shade and huntsman turning invisible is huge, huntsman getting to attack for the whole duration of the ult can probably save the team. bounty hunter and slayer are more of a flex of skill, but they are already like that in the normal game

Actually I think they plan upwards of allowing people to play as monsters iirc

Given how much damage the heroes do to the specials, specials should deal legend-level damage instead of this, it's pathetic, at 7:10 you could face the gun-rat with no repercution and getting hit by the gas didn't even remove your 15 THP...

@@getinthis Oh yes I totaly agree, as far as alpha go the most important thing is that the game works.
Just pointing out that the balance is so bad right now it makes the versus feel very unfun passed tohe novelty of it.
