- Hello everybody! Thanks for joining me as I share with you our one week stay in Kos Island, Greece! Check out Kardamena Beach, one of the famous Kos beaches.
Kos is the second most popular island of the Dodecanese after Rhodes. Well-visited for its historical landmarks and beautiful diverse beaches with crystal clear water with exciting scenery plus a laid back atmosphere. Many Kos beaches are organized and offer plenty of tourist facilities, like Kardamena, Agios Stefanos, Kefalos and Lambi, while others are secluded and frequented by naturists.
Kardamaina, or Kardamena, is a resort town on the Greek island of Kos. It’s known for its long, sandy beach, which is lined with bars, tavernas and nightclubs. We stayed at Porto Bello Atlantico Hotel, a 5 star all inclusive resort built in 2004. The service is second to none, the location is perfect. Surrounded by water gardens with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean sea and the volcanic island of Nissyros. Just a stone’s throw from the private beach, a gorgeous gold-dust slice of sands that melts into sapphire-blue seas. Twelve pools to choose from, thirteen if you count the elegant indoor one. The rooms have a superb Mediterranean design, with one-storey mansions and bungalows, with a total of 418 luxury rooms and suites.
