A stoner rock classic, the band was composed at the time of singer and guitarist Josh Homme, and Alfredo Hernández who recorded the drums.

What kind of effects do you use?
I didn't really use any effects in this cover apart from post mix stuff, so making sure every track is EQed, cleaned up and some plugins for the vocals and acoustic.

Good question. I'd say it's just a lot of trying and failing for a long time. I started when I was a kid, so I didn't think about the failure part too much back then. I just tried and tried again and at some point I was able to do both. Sorry I don't have a better answer lol

you're rushing a bit with the guitar! Pay attention to that in future :D but, really nice! well done
by that I mean: the guitar isn't grooving like it could because you're speeding up without noticing in each phrase and then noticing and compensating! This reduces the relaxed flow that characterises the riff when played by Josh!
@@TheAlternatist Hey Sebastian, I agree with you I did rush. I find it a little tough to play along a click, it's super noticable when the timing is even slightly off. But I would rather sound real than perfect so I just keep the take if my voice sounded good :) I think I'll get better with this over time as I play most of my songs along a click. You might find that just recording guitar on its own may allow you to fix that and then work on integrating it with the singing? Hmm
