As soon as I heard this and noticed that I can go EVERYWHERE I see on the horizon, all my wind waker and nostalgia game memoreis came back to me.
This game is gonna be great.
this song breathes adventure dude. once you go out for the first time on that sand shredder it felt like i was in for something special. phenomenal
It's giving me mad zelda wind waker vibes ngl
just like the game itself this OST is shaping up to be really special, sean absolutely knocked it out the park
Totally, getting to experience the mechanics and music together, it’s definitely solidified as one of my most anticipated games now!
roland sound canvas french horn my beloved
this game truly is gonna be something special
The late 90s early 20s rompler energy is so strong. It's wonderful
After playing the Tacklebox demo and hearing awesome tracks like this - my hype wait for its full release just skyrocketed, really.
gives me Skies of Arcadia feelings dawg 😭 this is gonna be a HIT
Once this song hit I was hooked (pun intended)
Everyone is hearing classic Zelda which is completely fair but I think this OST also has a lot of influence from the underrated title KLONOA, specifically the bagpipes and slight melancholic feel with a triumphant adventure ballad throughout. This prologue is so well-made and incredibly nostalgic I honestly can't wait to see more 😭😭
A huge part of it for me is how it maintains that unmistakable N64-Zelda soundfont, but in a much more energetic/lively cadence than we *thought* N64 games sounded, especially around the 2:10 mark
yessss klonoa mentioned !!!! it’s not listed as one of their inspirations for the game but i can’t help but think of it every time i play …. caster is a little klonoa-esque to me
these vibes are unreal!! it tickles my brain in such a cool way
THIS SONG ROCKS !!!! I LOVE THIS GAME
BIALO BACK AT IT AGAIN
BIALO BACK AT IT AGAAAAAAIN
Perfectly encapsulates the classics. Absolutely in love.
Really miss VG soundtracks sounding like this, where it just screams endless adventure
Beyond just Zelda music, this brings me back to a lot of Nintendo DS music in general. I really miss the era of sequenced music instead of pre-rendered, and this brings me back to the days where a well-done melody was almost as important as gameplay itself to bring the whole experience together
@@TurboPikachu you’re right, those great melodies that stick with you after the game is done, it can be such a huge component of the enjoyment. I find myself, moreso over time, being drawn into games by the music first and foremost, when you hear something special it really kicks off the momentum and curiosity for the rest of the game. It’s not sequenced music, but this most recently happened to me with Arctic Eggs, great first impression and consistent tunes throughout. Right now i’m playing Dungeons of Aether and the same goes there, the music is killer.
@@virtuasoul I often feel sequenced music, even as a self-imposed limitation in modern indie titles, frequently benefit from the concept of “limitation breeds creativity”, as a sequenced melody really has to be strong and a game with more-limited soundscapes can’t get away with plain ambient OSTs like today’s AAA games choose to. If this game’s music isn’t sequenced, it’d blow my mind, because it’s composed just like the very best of Nintendo’s SNES/N64 works were
What you said about first impressions regardless of whether music was sequenced or pre-rendered was also right-on! If pre-rendered music is straight up amazing and really makes the absolute most of the freedoms afforded by real instruments, I’m all for it. My favorite examples are every mainline 3D Mario game from Galaxy onwards with orchestral and jazz signatures, and especially the Xenoblade trilogy having some of the absolute best orchestral and rock to ever grace the world of games.
this song makes it so much harder to get a P boost while surfing because I can't time right it while jamming out to this banger...
this overworld theme is amazing. can't stop listening to it.
this game and it's ost gives me so many N64 and Wii vibes and i fucking love it
This has such strong N64 Zelda vibes.
We NEED an orchetral version of this jewel, any hero?!
Chimeratio and Cryptovolans are so so good....
I was searching for this earlier, didn't expect to find it waiting in my feed!
Nice, you are already on it! I just started playing yesterday, only just noticing it on steam’s homepage. My attention has been on all the summer games shows and upcoming Next Fest demos, so i’m glad i didn’t miss this one!
Nice
MASTER PIECE!!!!
I love indie games, man
That pan flute.
i didn't realize this prologue-demo-thingy was out now! i'll have to check it out.
this song suggests a pretty promising soundtrack!
It almost snuck under my radar as well!
this whole game gives me TLOZ vibes and i love it, the soundtrack kicks ass and all the animations are so fucking smooth i love this game
this is basically Hyrule Field
based youtube algo....def gives off fire emblem vibes
0:07 King Dedede
The ost of this game is crazy good
Just played tacklebox it was awesome, could you upload more of the music?
Sure, I am going to play more soon, so I’ll record them then. I have heard 3 more tracks in what i’ve played so far - 2 “level” songs, plus the starting area. There’s also the non-surfing version of this main desert track. Do you know if i’m missing any further in?
@@virtuasoulI might just try and rip the music from the game unfortunately i think it uses midi files
@@chucklnuts2206 Yeah, in cases like these where there’s not a ton of tracks, it would probably take me longer to figure out how to unpack the game’s data and play it properly, and I have more to do in the game anyway. I’ll can send you another reply once i get them up, i’ll most likely just leave them linked in the description or in a playlist.
@@virtuasoul 👍
