Also Scott, out of curiosity towards the end you said that you would have liked to have done keldor before he was Skeletor, but we ended up getting a Keldor figure. How would the one you mentioned ended up being different?

That Aremesh custom using a RoboCop body is pretty neat. :P I had the Ladybird books as a kid and always found those Skelcons creepy and cool. Would have been a nice army buidling in a seperate or double packs as you say. in my Mega Construx collection I currently use a couple of spare Skeletors with the goat skull of their havoc staff in place of their actual heads to fill in as Skelcons til Mega gets to making real ones (I hope they do, it would be a cheap and easy reuse of parts only needing a new head and fans like me would buy multiples). This is a cool list. :)

Celice was one I wanted to see; she could've been packed with that monster she had to sing to sleep. Stratos's wife, Delora, could've been packed with Mulkram; minicomic/human Delora could've come with Haramesh... Ilumina could've been packed with the cat, and it could've become a whole subset of characters packed with beasts and monsters...
Truth be told, MOTU is one of those toylines which will always seem incomplete, because there are always plenty of great characters out there in its surrounding mythos that rarely, if ever, become toys. I'm just thankful for the ones that have. 😊

Do you have or can you recommend any videos that actually show the toy manufacturing process (ideally from internal concept pitch to store planagram/order negotiations to factory selection to prototype to tooling to early samples to production)? How does a toy company decide which factories to work with? Some figures are made in multiple factories leading to variability in quality and content. Do toy companies have strategic agreements with factories to only do products for them? Do they have chosen factories that they go back to time and time again based on relationship and know quality or is it always a bidding war to determine the winner?

Not a fan of the She-Ra-at-Arms idea or Bandwith but I'm on board with the rest of them. There are a lot of others we're still missing as well and it goes to show how bad of a decision it was for Mattel to not let Super7 continue making them.
I really hope they come to their senses in the future and let Super7 revisit the line because Origins is garbage that I won't be supporting. The fact that they killed a line that the fans were enjoying just to try to force them to buy another product which wasn't being asked for made my decision pretty easy. The ironic part is that if Classics was still going and they released Origins at the same time, I probably would have supported the new line as well to contribute to the success of the overall property.

Unfortunately, at a certain point you're down to characters that only appeal to a niche segment of what was a niche audience to begin with. I would have been cool with Eternian Peasant #3, but realistically, there's probably not a big enough audience to support that.

I just thought up of a new figure to solve a small problem. How do you display all the variant heads of your figures? You call for Hed-Lock, the Evil Hord Headhunter Robot.
Hed-Lock is a wide boy with a large transparent dome to protect the eight still alive heads he has captured for Hordack. He also has eight eight "Body Control Units" he can place upon the bodies of the heads he captured for the Horde. Can He-Man and She-Ra keep their heads after a confrontation with this noggin thief?

How many characters are actually missing from the toy line. Whenever, you hear people talk about MOTU Classics, they always say how complete it is and there were no more characters to be done, but then there is a video like this and we can see that there were more characters to be done. How many characters were there to actually complete the line. From this video I can count 10, and don't include Filmation because that's kind of something different and it ended up being its own thing. We might see these in Masterverse. Have you done the video about what happened after you left Mattel. It was really a benefit to Super7, because they were able to do Thundercats from that and now Ninja Turtles Ultimates.

I always felt shoe horning in all these random characters that didn't have figures into the new mini comics was a mistake. It would have been better to develop the personalities of characters we were getting toys of. Instead pages of the comic would be wasted on just showing a bunch of characters with their names labelled next to them who then don't really do anything or further the story.

This honestly feels like you were scrapping the bottom of the barrel at this time, looking into characters that appeared in only 1 panel of artwork or were in a very unrelated spin-off production. But I mean-- you put out everything that was in the entire Masters of the Universe line and the She-Ra line-- well, a lot of the Beasts were never done like Bionotops and Clawdeen. You even got movie-only characters, unreleased characters, and 200X only characters. And then I guess you were up to everything to the 1991 toys which is where it got cut off. It is amazing you got out as many as you did. Even looking things up on the Wiki, other than the remaining "He-Man" 1990s line, only character I can find that might have been a nice addition would be General Tataran.

@@spectorcreative1872 There was hardly an episode of the Filmation series that didn't introduce a 1-off villain or ally. Most toylines barely get out 8 to 10 unique figures. The fact that you got out every figure made between 1982 and 1990, over 100 unique figures, and even added a lot of characters that never got them is well beyond any sort of expectations. Sure, I guess its sad that the 1991 to 1994 toys didn't get made, but I don't recall the "New Adventures" being a particularly popular era.
As for the Fimation characters-- there was hardly a single episode of the 200 or so episodes between Masters of the Universe and She-Ra that didn't introduce some one-off villain or ally. It would have been impossible to do them all. Actually, it is kind of funny how the He-Man and She-Ra cartoons produced after 2000 focused in on such comparatively small casts making the worlds seem comparatively small and empty, I guess the animation studios were given far more free reign to just make stuff up to fill out episodes.
And yet even some of those Filmation one-offs still got made in the Classics line even though they were never produced in the original line.
Really, it feels like you might have even overdone it.
