    In this video we will discuss the food that we can take when we have arthritis. Before talking about the food, let us quickly recap arthritis. As you all know, arthritis is the wear and tear caused by the friction of bones. It is a normal degenerative process like how your hair greys and how your skin develops wrinkles, the wear and tear of the knee is a normal ageing process.
    But as the first step we call it synovitis. Before arthritis, we call it synovitis. That is, the muscle around the joint, the film of tissue around it becomes swollen. So only after the inflammation, the process of arthritis starts.
    What causes the synovitis? As we use our body on a daily basis, based on the food we intake and the exercises that we do, the process of oxidation takes place. The oxidation process stimulates the capsule, forming a pathology called synovitis.
    So the food items that we are going to discuss have antioxidants. These antioxidants stop the oxidation process, or they delay it. Thereby, we can postpone the progression of arthritis by postponing the progress of synovitis.
    So the food items we are going to talk about today are basically antioxidants. To start with, the most important food item is Fish. The Omega-3 fatty acids in fish are essential for delaying your arthritis. It is an important antioxidant. So fish is the main food item in arthritis.
    That is now available as cod liver oil capsules, which is also referred to as 'fish tablet'.
    People who are vegetarians or vegans, don't worry. There are certain food items for you as well. Especially spinach or greens. Secondly, garlic. Garlic is significant. The turmeric we use in food has a lot of antioxidants. We have been using it in all food items. In fact, it is available as tablets now because it would not be practical for us to add so much turmeric to our food. Fourthly, berries; berries like gooseberry, cherry or strawberry. All berries have a good amount of antioxidants. Then, walnuts; the content of antioxidants is high in all nuts. In walnuts and almonds the antioxidant content is significantly higher. And finally, an important fruit is grapes. Grapes too have a significant amount of antioxidants. In fact black grapes are better than green grapes.
    So when such food products are consumed, we can delay arthritis. Even if those who have arthritis take these foods, the pain will surely reduce. Try to take all the food items on a daily basis and try to be pain free in arthritis.     எனக்கு sjogran syndrom problem இருக்கு. நான் hcqs200 விட d3 2000 சாப்பிடுகிறேன். கடந்த 10 நாட்களாக அனைத்து விரல்களும் pain வருகிறது. Sjogran முடக்கு வாதமாக மார வாய்ப்பு இருக்கிறதா

    I have saved your Vedio on exercises for knee pain and really very very thankful for that Vedio
    My left knee is painting since long back Not a single physiotherapist doctor advised me regarding stretching and then strengthening sequence
    Secondly let me know is curd is good in knee pain ?

      Dear Dr,
      Thanks for your advice, Initially I felt only in knee, After a week slowly
      hearing cracking sound in all joints of the body including neck joint as well. Is this infections disease. My family doctor advised to take break for do Yoga, Routine waling habits for sometime to arrest cracking sounds in the body.
      I am a pur vegetarian and tea totaller too.
      What kind of life style I suppose to follow,
      Kindly advise.

      almond overnight soaked is better - can have 5-6 in the morning
      Walnuts are made up of 65% fat and about 15% of protein. They're low in carbs... so 4 a day should be ok
