This place appears to be run more like a "rescue" than a zoo. I do like the way the keepers interact with the animals and they really put the animals welfare first. That is very important to me. Animals appear very well taken care of here . Didn't see the large cats and was happy about that. The rest of the animals were smaller and appear to be in a healthy environment. Those sloths were adorable and I think really taken with you Jacob. Animals are great judges of character.
Judy Osborne I live near Branson and have visited this place several times, and I can assure that yes, it is run responsibly and all of the animals are very well taken care of. The staff is friendly and experienced too. Highly recommended if you ever get the chance to visit.

The sloth is my spirit animal.
I went to the Promised Land Zoo a few weeks ago and, while I would never begrudge someone the joy of petting and feeding a sloth, I honestly think the ruffed lemur is a better bet for your money (about $85.00 for the VIP package, but that includes a ton of other stuff-including holding some cute baby animals). The ruffed lemur was incredibly playful, jumping around and climbing over our group; she also LOVED licking my neck, face, and arms. The best part is when she jumped to the ceiling, hung upside down in front of me, and made it very clear that she wanted to have her belly scratched. Just an amazing experience, as lemurs are such strange creatures that there's nothing else quite like them.
Obsessed with sloths...my dream is to be that close to one some day❤🤗

The Sloth is an anomaly, in the animal kingdom. It sleeps up to twenty hours, a day, while, most creatures fight for supremacy and survival. Besides that, the Sloth is cute. As a kid, Branson was a gas station, no theaters, Duck boats, sleeping under the stars, on concrete picnic tables(ladies slept in the panel van). When the SONIC opened, HOLY COW! Coca Cola, burgers(less bologna sandwiches!), and plastic 'twizzle straws'. Great memories!! Enjoyed the ZOO tour, Jacob! 👏
I live about 40 minutes away from Branson and so I have been lucky enough to visit this zoo several times and it is absolutely fantastic. Did the safari tour for the first time this summer, it was remarkably like a real safari and our Jeep got chased by one of the very social camels. 😂
Also, bottle fed baby goats and got to hold a snake and baby kangaroo. Really is a wondrous place for animal lovers, leaves me impressed every time.
Edit: And I see you included the guinea pig village, which I found to be the most adorable and unique thing

Been to a drive thru zoo in Oregon. They certainly had a lot more animals out in the open and didn't rely on trams. Nice...for the most part. Though, I did come away with a few minutes of footage from an overly exploratory ostrich. Kind of feather buffed the paint.

Sloths are bigger than I thought! I liked the super closeups! Maybe they had an incident with someone hitting an animal with their car, so now they use trams. That way they don’t have to worry about someone feeding bad things to the animals.

Dear carpet bagger, I have just contacted the zoo to inquire about touching a sloth as this is something I've wanted to do for 50 years of my life and I was even scheduled 2 years ago to go to the sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica but due to covid restrictions that was removed. Now I'm thinking of going to Branson Missouri and I have contacted them and of course they're telling me that I'm not allowed to hold them but maybe touch One but I don't know what the cost is for this VIP experience and how much in advance I need to schedule it I would appreciate your information thank you
