for you're 100 000 euro, i have a couple of sugestions:
DCA into difrent low cost ETFs if you want to increase the base amount over a long period.
Cash Flow, low dividend payers that has low risks, DCA and diversify.
Don't buy "cheap companies" pref companies at 20P/E+ with a future.
Personal i would not touch bonds, get companies with good Gross margins and low debt to headge against any inflation, they can survive any crash.
Other and probably the most common, is to use it to buy a new house with a higher price tag. Into a loan.

Great video. I always love to hear your thoughts as a copier. Closing copy trades manually because of fear shows that even though you rely on others to trade, you still have to work on your investing mindset. So people may say it's easy to copy someone, but it still requires a good mindset. I have some investments in bonds at Etoro, but I would not go all in. I like to DCA in a diverse portfolio and use my cash position to trade forex. But that is just how I like to do it.
Cheers Dave! Sounds a good plan. Yeah, I'm trying to learn more about bonds - it's a whole other market which I'd never learnt about at all. Got a meeting after Christmas with a bond guy from a bank to see how they approach it.
Started copying Santiago Gahn and it didn't start well but now it is up 4.4% so I'm happy and I have put your guys on my watchlist for the future. i think 2024 will be a good year as interest rates start to come down.

I noticed Kresimir was available yesterday and copied him. So now I have Celesh, Melvyn, Kresimir, Gainers QTR smart portfolio and a load of crypto.
Oh wow, you went for the gainers QTR eh? Hope it goes well - was that the one with the guarantee on it? I can't remember now... I think it was. I would have gone for that given the cash :)

Great input as always, Im trying to copy trade celesh, but im not able to select copy only new trade, do you have the same problem
hey there - they've removed the option to copy open trades and instead iplenented an 'automatic re-alloction system to deal with the issue of de-syncing from the person you're copying. seems quite clever - i'm reading about it now actually :) i just coped a new person today and saw it was gone. but it's been gone for a while.
I have been copying C.P Hequites since the 3rd of May this year and he is my star performer . He did have a very bad 2022 though , like many who are invested in the tech sector . I also have just started investing with Amit Kup who had a very respectable 2022 , he invests in coal ,oil and gas companies .
Both very interesting - I had CP on a watchlist back in 2021 when he was suggested by some viewers - I'm listening to his youtube channel right now to get a better feel for how he thinks :) I've copied Amit Kup as I've been looking for purely energy investors for ages, and oil seems to be at the bottom of a medium term trend right now, so maybe* and ok time to copy.
*I'm not sure at all :)
I would up my position on Kresimir. That guy is an absolut beast. I also jumped on the opportunity when copying was available again and am planning on dollar cost averaging on him from now on if his results remain as strong. What do you think about this? take care and keep up the good work. Jez
I actually already increased a bit. I'll do the same i think if I see him doing well, but I have to keep in mind that he's stated that he feels a 50% stop loss is ok, so i have to keep that in mind - it's just whether my nerves could take that :)
You have to keep emotions aside if you copy guys like Kresimir. Just let him do the work and don^t look at your account everyday if you wanna stay sane lol@@SocialTrading
@@SocialTrading Concerning your last question for investing a large chunk of money: my recommendation would be not to leave it in a savings account because you'll get crushed by inflation and it's not particularly interesting either... I personnally invest in swiss dividend stocks. It's a good defensive strategy and a market with solid companies such as Nestlé, Roche, Swiss Re etc, the swiss franc is strong and the political envoronment in Switzerland is very stable and has been for over a century. $100k? If i had that sitting around, id love to put a portion of it to property, and then dollar cost average (DCA) into an etf(s). DCA is one of your tools you can use against risk if used properly
Thanks - you'd buy the dip eh? I guess it depends which ETFs - if there is a crash, some sectors might rebound faster than others. Depends how badly consumers are hit, and in what way. Maybe it'll all boom! Who knows.
@@SocialTrading Your last words of "who knows" is exactly why dollar cost averaging is the optimal approach. You don't know if it'll go up, you don't know if it'll go down. Just using some averages, the s&p500 has grown by 7-10% annually (again, on average) over many decades. Many ups and downs through those years. But with dollar cost averaging, let's just say, $50-$100 a week, you will find that the math supports that you will on average buy more of the down periods or a lower average buy figure, meaning you will be able to enjoy the 7-10% annual average mentioned earlier. I'm not saying an industry specific etf like a technology based etf, but a market tracking index/etf that tracks all sectors in a particular country or region 😊
The key to dollar cost averaging working and being effective is, setting aside a fixed dollar amount to invest over consistent periods (i.e. $50 a week, every week, for the next 30yrs). If the dollar amount changes regularly or the consistency of the periods invested varies, the math does not support you and then you are likely to either invest more money during expensive or high periods, or you play a guessing game of trying to buy the low periods and completely missing them.
